Receivers and RB's are too big and strong to be brought down with just a shoulder and guys trying to go for the big hit get burned more often than naught by dipping their head, shoulders and basically using no fundamental form on tackling.
Second.....by week #17 you'd think that blown coverages wouldn't be an issue. How many times do you see on a replay guys getting lost in coverage, guys not knowing where the hell to go, guys at the LOS making adjustments. Don't they go over film, look at formations, practice this shit.
Third...on the TD play in overtime it's a basic rule of thumb if you're going to leave no safety help in the middle of the field then the corner has to force the receiver to the outside and use the sideline as another defender. It's all basic fundamental shit that's taught in high school and even in pop warner sometimes.
You definitely been watching too much Neuheiselball.

As far as the NFL OT rule...yeah, nice improvement - not deciding the game with a coin flip...but they are just 75% there....should be each team gets a possession regardless of the result of the 1st team's possession...So if they score 3 points, game on. 6 points game over. Nice compromise.

Sure...and then you start getting gashed on the ground. With Hampton and Keisel out, is that even a viable option?
That's pretty much it. As always, the unsung heroes for Denver (besides their defense, most weeks) were the offensive linemen. They're the reason Tebow can even stay on the field. Were it not for the O-Line's ability to force nine-man defensive boxes to protect against the running game, Tebow would have to face normal pass rushes/defensive schemes. He'd have to sift through complicated coverage packages. He'd have to make quick reads. He'd have to throw under duress to small windows.

He'd have to be an NFL QB.

Instead, he's still playing college ball, where guys like JaMarcus Russell sit back on a lounge chair behind their dominating O-Lines, looking awesome throwing downfield to wide-open receivers.

It's a strange thing, watching Denver's offense. Guys like Brees, Brady, Manning and Rodgers have to be that good in order to set up one-on-one coverages somewhere on the field. All their film study, all the reads they make at the line of scrimmage, it's all designed to locate and isolate the one guy who will enjoy man-coverage. In Tebow's case, every time he lines up and takes a snap he's facing nothing but man-coverage, and it's with all his receivers. He can just pick and choose, waiting all day for the deepest one to run free.

Crazy.
Jesus Christ, you're fucking pathetic. Where was this fabulous O line when Kyle Orton was going 1-4 with a quitting team behind him? Where was all that dazzling defensive effort before Tebow took over? Where was the overpowering running game? Where was any portion of Denver's success before Tebow got the start?

How many lame ass excuses are you going to have to make before the facts start sinking in?

You're not agreeing with me. You don't seem to have learned or understood anything. You're sitting there scratching your head and wondering what a strange thing this all is. Except that it isn't very strange at all once you realise that Tebow really can play at a NFL level and that he really is improving on an almost weekly basis.

You were wrong from the beginning and still don't have the balls to admit it. That's pretty fucking weak.

Stop trolling, mvscal. You jumped on Tebow's bandwagon for no other reason than trolling. Tebow is an annoying dickhead. No one likes him but Bronco fan, jesus freaks, and his mommy. Get off this wagon, you look like a teen girl idolizing her superstar.

This coming from a fan of a division opponent. Homer much? Those of us who couldn't give 2 shits about the AFC West are kinda impressed with this guy, bad mechanics and all. His religious antics are no worse than anything else in sports or entertainment. It's more media hype than anything.

It started out, that I hated his style of play. I still hate that. I don't think he can sustain that kind of play at this level. I really don't like someone praising God when they win a game. He may be a nice enough guy, I don't know. It's sort of a subjective thing, I guess. I dislike a lot of christians because they are hypocrites. You all don't even know my stance on christianity, God or religion. You assume too much. Does that satisfy your curiosity?

Pittsburgh's mayor 'Tebows' in defeat

Pittsburgh's mayor knelt down in defeat on Tuesday, donning a Denver Broncos No. 15 jersey and "Tebowing" in front of the Steel City's skyline to pay off a bet he made with the mayor of Denver over the Steelers-Broncos playoff game.

Mayor Luke Ravenstahl's Steelers lost as Denver quarterback Tim Tebow (No. 15) threw an 80-yard touchdown pass on the first play of overtime for a 29-23 victory Sunday.

Tebow's gesture of kneeling in prayer after great plays has become a national phenomenon, but for Ravenstahl it wasn't a craze he wanted a part of.

"This is not something I ever thought I'd have to do, and it certainly wasn't something I was looking forward to," Ravenstahl said. "However, we're good sports here in Pittsburgh, and I want to congratulate Denver on a great win."

If Denver had lost, Mayor Michael Hancock had pledged to wear a Steelers jersey and wave a "terrible towel," SBNation Pittsburgh reported.
