I'd actually buy that. If not for the sell-job, but for the fact my commute has doubled and I need something to stretch the life of mine and my wifes cars.

It's not like my car is a guzzler. My Altima is getting about 32.5-33 mpg on my drive. My wife's van hit the 100,000 mile mark and we kind of want to keep both cars for quite a while. If I grab some beater on the cheap and have her do the manageable 30 mile round trip commute in my car, both sleds should be around long enough for our kids embarassing first car gifts.
