I've been warning for a decade about the NFL moving towards The Abyss.
It's about there.
Last year the product was on the precipice of being unwatchable for poptart.
There are MANY factors, but long story short, they've tilted things so that the officials (and officiating overall) have become much too strong a point of emphasis in a game.
It's now nearly more of a parody of professional football than it is a real pro football contest.
