I watched Stony Brook beat LSU today.

LSU was mediocre this year. I have no idea how they made it as far as they did. However, Stoney Brook is a suprisingly very good team. They beat Miam1 in their own regional and then LSU. Very impressive. They're an all around solid team.

Why in the world do they group teams from the same conference on the same side of the bracket at the CWS? Both Pac 12 teams on one side and 3 SEC teams on the other side. Horrible.

A lot of LSU fans travel to Omaha win or lose and go for the team that put them out of the tournament

GEAUX Stony Brook, props to them. They have a damn good team, even if few have heard or them. They had 7 players drafted, as compared to 5 from LSU. Of course I was pulling for LSU, but you have to be happy for those guys, they played on the biggest field of their lives and won. I hope they win the CWS.

Hard for LSU to feel bad about losing to Stony. They were lucky to get one win off of them.


More than like Stony will send FSU packing tomorrow.

Freshman on the mound (Troupe?) last night in 8th and 9th got in a bind, but pitched tough. Very impressive.

Looked to me like SC got robbed on the fair ball call that led to the first Arizona run. Strike zone seemed a bit fluid at times. But entertaining, nonetheless.
