Looks like Michigan has the toughest OOC schedule listed there. Bama in Dallas, AF, @ND is tougher than Miami's or Syracuse's schedules.

I don't disagree at all. I've said many times I despise the shitty OOC games most SEC schools schedule.

It doesn't take much to make the list of toughest OOC schedules, though, does it?

Northwestern isn't a big deal at all. Decent game, but not something to brag about.
USC is obviously huge. One of the top couple teams in the nation.
Stony Brook. Really? Seriously?
Minnesota. Pure shit.
Missouri. Good game.

And this is the toughest OOC in the country?

Not a slap at SU at all, but I'd suggest that Michigan and Miami might have tougher overall OOC games.

Not to mention that 3 of Syracuse's OOC games are at home. Unless the Orange has more than 4 road games in conference, there is no reason to play just 2 on the road OOC.

Of the three who don't, one (Michigan) has one opponent in its first year of Division 1-A (UMass), and another (Sparty) has two opponents in the MAC. That those teams are at the top of the heap when it comes to OOC scheduling probably says more about OOC scheduling these days than anything else.

Fwiw, Syracuse probably got the nod because it had four OOC opponents at the BCS level. No one else has more than two.

USC has no 1AA schools and they are only given 3 OOC games except in years when they play at Hawaii when they can have a 4th. The reason Hawaii is on the schedule is a return trip from USC going over there a couple years ago
