Olerud a Red Sock

When The Yankees plucked this guy from the minors last season, I was pissed.

This year, the Sox got 'em. I like it!
Straight up defensive stud. Clutch hitter plus he'll be able to grow a gotee and wear a baggy uniform.

"Fuck off chowd!"

My dad and I used to always watch the Mariners on TV (my network shows a lot of Jays-M's doubleheaders) and he would talk about Johnny Olerud in his prime when the Jays won the 2 World Series titles. As a result, he's one of my favorite players. I was so disappointed that I never got to see him play, he was released the day before I went to Safeco to see the M's.

Theo is a genius. Not that the sining puts them over, but follow this one.
They need to bring up a starter, but Jeremi Gonzalez isn't on the 40 man roster which means they have to designate someone. Exit Dave McCarty. Gonzalez gets a turn or two, then gets sent back down, enter C3POlerud

Props to your Sox...3 of 4 from the Motor City Kitties after getting thumped in Game 1. I'll just tip my cap and...well, you know the rest.

A.) Bend over and take it in `Da Poopchute
B.) Have delusions of winning the Central like `Da Meat Hook
C.) Play out the string like `Da Royals

I'll take B...gotta hope for the Twins and Sox to have a couple of subpar months though. I'm sure as hell not going to play out the string like the Royals. The Tigers will probably finish 15-20 games ahead of the Royals when it's all said and done. My preseason prediction was for a 83-79 season...it's not out of the realm of possibility. They'll finish within striking distance of the Twins and Sox but they'll be out of the hunt by September. Next winter, they need to add a couple of starters before I can call them legit contenders. Bonderman is going to be great but the rest of them are 4th or 5th starters at best. Ilitch said he's willing to spend more in order to make this team a winner. They've got the lineup to win but they need the defense and starting pitching to compliment it.

How pissed is Steinburner dropping 3 games to the D-Rays?
I'm willing to bet he deals K.Brown, J.Giambi & B.Cashman for a 4th round draft pick in next years draft.

All serious here....I love seeing those fucks twist in the wind but I still believe they'll be back to give the AL east a run for their money.

Still.....Their pitching could not get high school sophmores out.

I'm loving this!

Oooops wrong thread!

You go Shoalzie!

We got Olerud. He's pissed!
