Niners get Boldin

For 6th round pick, according to espn.

First they ass rape Kansas City for basically a late 1st round draft pick and get rid of one of the worst QB's in NFL history... then Jim makes a behind the scenes deal with his brother.

Just need Revis Island for the cherry on top.

Jim and John aren't making the deals, idiot.

The Raventhals were going to have to cut Boldin regardless due to their fucked up cap situation. That they got any picks at all was a plus. Ozzie Newsome just might be able to do something with the pick.

Nice pick up for the Niners, though. They still look to be the class of the NFC.

Boldin has been a great player, no doubt. But he'll be 33 next season, who knows how much gas he has left in the tank? SF took on a $6 mil salary, it's a risky deal that may or may not pay off.

As for the "worst QB in NFL history" take, you didn't watch the tag team of suck that were Cassel and Quinn last season. A 2nd round pick was well worth that risk.
