William Freis of Plattsmouth said his wife, Lynette, went grocery shopping April 16, 2010, at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on 15th Street and the cashier gave her one plastic bag for two 42-ounce cans of La Choy and a 2-pound bag of rice.
The wrongful death suit alleges Wal-Mart was negligent for failing to properly train its employees to prevent them from overfilling grocery bags and knowing when to double bag a customer's groceries.
And, the suit says, the defendants provided Lynette Freis with a defective grocery bag.
So which is it?
I'm not sure I've ever seen anybody put something into a grocery bag ALONG with a bag of ice. This shit should never even make it this far.....though I've yet to personally find anything good to say about any Walmart employee and probably haven't been into one in 3 or 4 years
either way.....this was a freak accident to begin with and then the idiot probably let it get infected through her own negligence
I'm not sure which was the bigger mistake: allowing lawyers to advertise on TV, etc. or pharmaceuticals. If it wasn't for Billy Fuccillo down here (look him up if you want) our TV would be nothing but lawyer and drug advertising.

Ice or rice?
And where do you buy a 2-pound bag of ice? (I'd ask Moving Sale.)

The OL had a 1.5 liter bottle of red wine break through a plastic grocery bag on our doorstep a couple of years ago. Made a huge fukking mess but, luckily, she's still with us.
She did go back to the grocery store and ask for a refund because they should have double bagged it or used better bags. The manager gave her a hard time claiming that their responsibility ended when she left the parking lot. She did get her money back, but the stain on our porch lasted a while.
Bri, Billy has found car sales nirvana down here. He set up a KIA dealership in an empty old Saturn place in Cape Coral and has been #1 KIA dealer in the USA for the past year or more. The ad sales folks in TV,radio, and print media must love him. Must have a gonzo business model. He has the other dealers scrambling and innovating too. HUGE-Ah !
