the bronco defense has been their weakest link and up until yesterday, they were always able to overcome it with stellar offensive performance......you could see that Manning was sorely missing Welker last night.....

I think Caldwell filled in well, he certainly put up Welker numbers. The Broncos lost because of crap defense, and because the Chargers were clearly up for the game. Denver was not.
