Can they still host the SB at home?
To be honest Palmer wasn't carrying them anyway, and he's been in the league since 2003 and hasn't won a playoff game. Let's see how Stanton does....I like their chances with him in the playoffs better.
Cardinals lose Palmer for the year. What now?

It sure is a good thing Arizona just shelled out 50 million bucks for their "franchise QB" who couldn't walk to his mailbox without shredding something, let alone play three more years of a violent sport. Nice job, dumbfucks. NOBODY SAW THAT COMING!
I think Stanton will be fine. He's efficient and has a defense to rely upon. Unproven on the big stage though so we'll see what he's made of soon enough.

What;s the difference between Stanton & Palmer? A couple of knee ligaments?

Stanton played well yesterday....so far so good.
Re: Cardinals lose Palmer for the year. What now?
Stanton was okay but he was playing the best statistical defense in the NFL. Both his picks came from good athletic plays and good reads. He's a classic system QB. Arians has him on the team because he knows his offense back to his Indianapolis days. Nobody should go all 'Josh McCown' on him this spring and pay him to be their savior. We've seen how that worked...Tampa.
The Cardinals defense is legit. Calvin and Tate were kept under wraps and the only guy that did anything offensively was Joique Bell. Stafford didn't look comfortable. If you can lock up his safety blanket targets and get pressure on him, he'll give you that sub-200 yard/50% completion day.
I'd still take the Packers over them right now in the NFC. They were inevitably going to catch the Lions for the top spot in the North. I think the Lions are a solid bet for a wild card with their remaining schedule. Big game for the Cards at Seattle on Sunday...could put that division on ice with another win and it would help out teams like the Lions and Eagles to pin another loss on the champs.
