Patsy Cline-beautiful voice. Had she not died, i think she would have crossed over into pop music and done well
Ann Wilson-you don't really wanna argue with dins....do you?
Janis Joplin- best chick blues singer. maybe best blues singer period.
Cindy Lauper- when she wants to use it, she really has a nice vioce
Wynona - wife dragged me to see her. she really does have a powerful voice. bitch can sing soul like no other white girl. wish she would do some aretha covers

Cold Blood - one of the great unheralded bands of the early 70s Bay Area.

Saw them a couple of times when I was in HS and had a serious 16 year old crush on Lydia Pense.
People have said that she was a Janis knockoff, but she had a special talent of her own. A bit more funk / R&B oriented than Janis.
