The fact that the "loyal opposition" nixed any chance of a public option, which would have provided a less expensive alternative (i.e. competition), and also will not let Medicare negotiate with pharmaceutical companies as all other major countries do, might have something to do with it.

their profitability is what's driving it, not the need for everyone to be insured.....you can see the drop in profits at the exact time the aca went into effect.....its surged since those initial hits....
