2015 Quarterbacks
So I was skimming through some 2015 team previews, and one thing stood out to me: The SEC might have the worst collection of QBs of all the power conferences. In a league that prides itself on recruiting, how does this happen?
The conference's best returning QB is probably... Dak Prescott? Then who else is there? Maty Mauk? Joshua Dobbs?

AJ McCarron...
Sin,
SS  (I kid)
you are right...they are flat awful...while Prescott is good...I mean would he start over any of the 3 at OSU or Connor Cook at MSU?? NOPE...
btw...how nice is it for tOSU...3 guys (who if healthy) could start anywhere...well except Cal
The B1G has some impressive QB's coming back for this year...let's hope it still translates to winning and keeping the momentum going...

Uh, sorry Goobs, but Stave is a mediocre talent at best. This is a guy who got benched at one point cuz he had the "yips."
Re: 2015 Quarterbacks
Auburn has Jeremy Johnson.
He brings passing back to Malzahn's playbook.
Could be interesting.

QB isn't strong this year, but I want to see what Cardale Jones can do in a full season. He could be special.
I think Kessler, Boykin, and Prescott have a chance to emerge as Heisman candidates as well as Jones.
Gunner Kiel has a chance to sneak in there if Cincy runs the table in the AAC.

Boykin is a legit Heisman candidate right out the gate. Hell, Bovada has got him as the pre-season fave at 6/1 odds right now.
I am not certain Cardale Jones will even be named the day one starter.

Hey, you finally got something right for once (even though that wasn't your intent).
You know, blind squirrel and shit.
CBS Sports has Jared Goff (if he comes out after his Junior year) the # 5 pick in the NFL draft and the # 1 quarterback.
1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- Ohio State DE Joey Bosa (6-5, 285, 4.82): Sacks and shrugs, that's what Bosa does. The Buckeyes' pass rusher has quickness, power and football instincts to disrupt the backfield and be the No. 1 pick.
2. Tennessee Titans -- Notre Dame OT Ronnie Stanley (6-6, 318, 5.16): Zack Martin's replacement last season at left tackle, Stanley might have been the top offensive lineman drafted this year had he declared early. He'll anchor the Notre Dame offense this fall.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars -- Florida CB Vernon Hargreaves III (5-11, 194, 4.49): If eligible, there is no doubt Hargreaves would have been the first defensive back drafted in 2015. At only 5-11 and 195 pounds, he lacks ideal size, but his fluidity and cover instincts are NFL ready.
4. Oakland Raiders -- Alabama DT A'Shawn Robinson (6-3, 320, 5.18): The Raiders decided to pass on Leonard Williams, but Reggie McKenzie goes with Robinson, a player who is primed for a breakout season in the SEC, with this selection.
5. Washington Redskins -- California QB Jared Goff (6-4, 198, 4.76): The first quarterback off the board, Goff is an athletic, strong-armed passer who likely be compared to another Cal QB, Aaron Rodgers.
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/nfl- ... irst-round
Even Mel Kiper... has Jared Goff (if he comes out after his junior year)... as the # 9 pick in the NFL draft.
http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft2015/inside ... -nfl-draft
He's a good Marin County boy... who played about a mile away from my place in "Gerstle Park" while attending Marin Catholic High School.
I actually played against his dad "Jerry" back in high school when I was at Terra Linda and his dad played center for San Rafael High School.

So yes, you're right... none of Ohio States quarterbacks would stand a chance in hell... of becoming the starting quarterback at Cal.

Re: 2015 Quarterbacks
Interesting...when OSU traveled to Cal in 2013...and you know beat the absolute FUCK out of them...
Kenny Guiton = OSU back up (who started for an injured Miller)
Jared Goff = Cal starter
Guiton's stats
C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT QBR
K. Guiton 21/32 276 8.6 4 0 83.3
Goff's stats
C/ATT YDS AVG TD INT QBR
J. Goff 31/53 371 7.0 3 1 56.8
the fucking idiot couldn't even outplay a BACKUP for OSU and remind me who won? Oh yeah OSU 52-34
cue up your typical response that because Goff had more yardage he outplayed Guiton

Predictions for the coming season:
1. Kevin Hogan will finish the season with a higher QBR and more wins than Goff.
2. Stanford will kick Kal's ass for the sixth consecutive year.

Just when you think Ohio State fan... couldn't be anymore of a dipshit, he lays out this moronic blast.
Psst... shit for brains.
Goff was a TRUE freshman in that game !!!
Oh yeah, he was also an early entrant into college because he graduated from high school early.
Just to add to how fucking stupid you are... he was 17 years old in that game... and just 3 months earlier had attended his high school prom !!!
Like I said... and most of the NFL experts.
Goff will likely go in the top 5 in the NFL draft after his TRUE junior season.. while Cardale Jones (what is the guy now... 23 years old ?) will most likely be the next JaWalrus.
Ohio State is blessed they don't have to play Cal this year... because Goff would rip that defense to shreds this year if they played.

I think Goff is pretty good. He can go out and get you 42. Problem is his defense will give up 52.

And your point???????? What does Clausen's age in high school have to do with Goff's age in college? Oh wait...it's all Notre Dame's fault....pedophile priest blast coming from you in 5......4.....3.....And he was still younger than Jimmy Claussen was for his senior year at Oaks Christian HS
I'm sure U$C would NEVER EVER recruit any kid that was a hold back in high school.

And yet, another complete failure as a quarterback for "the fighting ethnic group".
The only good quarterback Nortre Dame has ever produced... is Joe Montana.
Cal has produced so many good quarterback's... I stopped counting.
Hell, no school has produced more "Super Bowl" quarterbacks... than Cal.
Goff is just one of the many at Cal that will make it to the next level, dominant and cement his name in history on the world stage as a quarterback.

Notre Dame graduates who have started a Super Bowl at QB:

Joe Theismann; 2 starts, 1 win.
Daryle Lamonica; 1 start, 0 wins.

Stop giving facts to Stoolio....it's going to confuse him. You may think Goff is going to be a good QB at the next level because the so called experts say so but how many times have the experts been wrong? I'll bet Goff gets drafted because he will put up good numbers vs. shitty teams but against good or decent teams he's going to suck. Someone will draft him and he'll be like your typical below average Cal QB in the NFL....a career back up.

The only one moving the "goal posts"... is you.
I said, Cal has produced more "Super Bowl" quarterbacks than any school in the country.
YOU redefined it to mean ONLY graduates.
If that's the case... half the NFL wouldn't be able to say they're "alumni" of the college they played at before playing in the NFL... let alone, the "Super Bowl".
Since YOU wanted to get technical and move the "goal posts".
Private schools like USC, Notre Dame, and Stanfraud... are not required to report graduations rates like public schools are. That's pretty much why they always show close to 100%... when they do report them.
Anyone that has "actually" attended a four year college knows... that the average student that DOES NOT play... College Sports... runs at about 75% graduation rate after entry to the institution.
That being said, Vince Ferragamo was not only a Cal alum and football player... he was the STARTING quarterback at Cal !
You know how I know that ??? I watched him play at Cal... while you weren't even born.
Oh looky here... it's Vince Ferragamo as the starting quarterback at Cal !
Not enough proof ???
Here's Vince Ferragamo as the starting quarterback at Cal... playing in "The Big Game" against Stanfurd and bringing them back from behind and winning the game with only 3 seconds left !
The ONLY reason Vince Ferragamo transferred from Cal to Nebraska was... he knew as a "future Super Bowl quarterback" he would be sitting on the bench and NEVER play again.
His competition at Cal for the starting quarterback position was the BEST quarterback in College Football... and the future # 1 Draft pick in the NFL and NFL Pro Bowl player...
1975 NFL Draft...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1975_NFL_draft
Steve Bartkowski...
In conclusion...
Cal has had more starting quarterbacks in the Super Bowl... than any school in College Football history !
As my initial statement indicates.
Oh yeah, I don't need to move "goal posts" to get over... like some tards on this board.
Killian wrote:I can count the number of "good Cal QB's" with my dick.
Sure you can... pedophilia supporter (the Catholic Church and Notre Dame University) and murderer (student WACKED to DEATH by coach Brian Kelly while recording practice)... not to mention the female student that was RAPED by multiple Notre Dame football players and committed suicide after all her pleas went in vain ... supporter.
Sure you can... bitch, sure you can.

When faced with FACTS, he now claims to only be a freshman drop out from Cal on some other shit thread on this board. If one gets accepted to Cal, you better damn graduate from there or you are a piece of shit regardless. He is a total pathological liar. Cal is a school where he is only a FAN/fag.

Hey stool sample....do us a favor and scan your college diploma and post it here for all of us to see.......I'm with everyone else here.......you never graduated from Cal.
As far as Claussen goes....nobody was saying he was a great QB. You'r the one bringing up all these average QB's from your below average football school. I'd take ND's below average group of QB's over the years over Cal's well below average group.
Are you serious with Vince Ferragamo? Really? That's reaching man......
