Built to Spill show

Post by Bizzarofelice »

I'm too damned old for this shit. You youngsters want to go and smoke a ton and drink excessively. Let me watch my music and sip Ensure in peace. I was surprised by all the younger types who would cheer loudly for songs off keep it like a secret, whilst all I wanted to hear was built to spill and nothing wrong with love. Whippersnappers.

Stood in a line out front long enough to miss Mike Johnson. Sounded sad in there. Not only that, but there were so many damned people there that it was hot as fuck and no room to get a beer. After fighting the crowds twice for beer, I decided to set up shop next to my friendly neighborhood bartenderman.

They with Built to Spill, or at least the song off the CZ release that sez built to spill a lot. The Plan... love that fucking song. Twins Falls... love that fucking song. When Not Being Stupid off the BTS/Caustic Resin ep that I can never find. Love that fucking song. You Were Wrong... love that fucking song. I guess when a band is touring without an album to promote they are free to kick out the classics.

Pretty down with drunk chicks bouncing around wearing little clothes. Not down with the two blondes near me who overdressed and talked throughout the show. Whoever brought Paris and Nikki Red Roof Inn needs to leave them at home. If I see them at Hold steady, I will fight them.

No, but when tuning their guitars they did break out in the opening riff of Panama by Van Halen.

Else, I don't think so.

I like ensure. That stuff is the bomb for a quick breakfast.

Sorry Spanky, you're on my hook.
