Stanford doesn't play Utah this season, or ASU.

They get UCLA at home in three weeks on a Thursday after a bye. Oregon and Cal are also home games.

Things are setting up nicely, especially seeing as how Northwestern is a lot better than anybody expected, if they can keep playing well (RACK McCaffrey's 200+ vs. OSU).

Beating Notre Dame in the final week and then Utah in the CCG should set them up for a playoff run (in my dreams).

Holy shit. What a weekend. These are based on who they've played so far.

1. Utah. Yup. They may have destroyed one of the best programs in the country today @ Autzen. They beat Michigan as well, who suddenly seems very impressive.

2. Ole Miss. You knew there'd be a major let down this weekend, and there was. They're still extremely dangerous.

2.tie UCLA. Two quality wins in two straight weekends. I'm impressed.

3. Michigan State. Sorry Mgo, but Utah just made that win against Oregon look not so good. Should be blowing out the pooper teams more.

3. (tie) Notre Dame. They're doing what they need to.

4. tOSU - Sorry guys. The Va. Tech win isn't impressive anymore, as they suck badly. Not blowing out the pooper teams over the last couple of weeks hurts.

5. LSU - Fournette may well be one of the best RB's we'll ever see. He's that good.

6. Baylor. Haven't. Played. Shit.

7. TCU. Haven't played shit, and give up way too many points.

8. Clemson

9. Michigan. I know they've got a loss, but they are starting to roll.

10. UGA. This coming weekend will tell us all we need to know. If they bounce 'bama, I'll be sold on them. They haven't played shit so far. Shit would be better. This year's SC may be the worst college team Spurrier has ever coached, so UGA's win last weekend was far from quality.

I saw the opening kickoff/fumble before passing out in the hospital, but in seeing bits and pieces of the game and reading aboout it, it's rather obvious the Tide handed the game to the Rebels with the 5 TOs. Bama outgained the Rebs, whose D is supposed to be awesome, right?

So what's with the huge tumble?

Granted, after watching them this past weekend, the offense is a mess, but why the major fall after the Ole Miss game?

Maybe handing the game to the Rebels with five turnovers had something to do with it.

Ahh yes, the old "if my team didn't make all those mistakes" excuse. Top 10 teams don't turn the ball over five times. The problem with this logic is the other team made mistakes too, which if they didn't make, could have won by more than they did. Besides, no objective person who watched that game came away with the impression that Bama was better but just suffered some bad luck that day. They got worked by Ole Miss from the start but got some garbage time points to make it look closer than it was.
