Lefty, how was Halloween in your hood?
Did you slam the door on any minorities looking for a handout?

I seriously doubt LS slammed the door on any brown kids. He likely never answered it.

I have no idea. I officiated a game in the Midwest (generally accepted use of that geographic description, not Schmick's). Flew home today.
I do know that the weather was fukked and most people were likely more worried about not getting died than obtaining free candy. Flooding rains and tornadoes have a way of keeping people home.
On the plane I read about the purple pumpkin movement. Apparently you are supposed to paint a pumpkin purple and that lets parents know that you also have gluten free, nut free, sugar free, etc, etc crap to hand out to those kids who can't eat regular candy so that they don't feel left out and have their feelings hurt. So how many of y'all participated?

I think I might try a pumpkin in blackface next year.

Was sitting around with friends watching games in the early evening, with a big bowl of candy. Good thing that candy was on hand, with the grand total of zero trick-or-treaters.
I guess that 2" of Pineapple Express downpour was a deterrent (and few little kids in my neighborhood).

Re: Lefty, how was Halloween in your hood?
We're new to my neighborhood so I did the whole pass out candy thing. Total of 5 trick or treaters. Thankfully my front has a small courtyard so I just sat outside grilling tri tip and drinking wine while watching the Warriors game through the front door (Rack 4K tv's btw). We then met up with folks in another neighborhood and that was essentially a drunken block party with kids running around. Good times.

So Scott -- did any of that inane tomfoolery help your boy hook up a 3-way?
If not, you failed.

Did you take the chain off so you could run up to someone and actually start "sawing" without anyone going to the hospital/prison?KC Scott wrote:

Remind the Missus that he could be boinking his BF already.
Probably time to have a heart-to-heart Father/Son, and explain she won't get preggers if he only does her butt.

uhm, you're never going to fully process that.
Just have a drink (or 14) and roll with it.
And change the subject any time your OL brings it up.
It's for the best.
