You have the SEC game going off at 4:00 p.m. EST.
Then you have the Pac 12, B1G and ACC all going at the same time.
What kind of sense does that make? There may be a lot of remotes worn out on Saturday.
I blame this on 88.

Nothing to worry about there. I look silly anyway.Papa Willie wrote:You're too old to be doing tech shit like that. You'd look silly.Mikey wrote:What do I care...I won't be home anyway. I'll be watching the Pac12 game on my phone in SFO and on a plane.

You mean you won't be clearing your schedule to watch that storied rivalry? In fairness, it is the best game on during the noon time slot. I suspect Lefty was throwing a bone to Go Coogs...Goober McTuber wrote:What is the process for choosing which game goes in the tiebreaker slot? Temple-Houston?
Your mother and father only met once. And I believe when they did meet, money exchanged hands.Goober McTuber wrote:Temple-Houston? Why not go with a game we'll all actually be watching?

Each week there is some thought that goes into which game is the must pick. Since it is a tie breaker, I usually want to find a game that will have a wider range of point possibilities. Missouri vs Kansas isn't going to have many people put up a number above 40. (Granted that would be punishment if anyone was forced to watch that this season.) So generally I try to go with games where the guesses are going to be across a wider spread. That said there are some games that have so much board attention that it seems like it has to be the must pick game.MgoBlue-LightSpecial wrote:You mean you won't be clearing your schedule to watch that storied rivalry? Yeah didn't take that as a complaint, just thought I would share since there were a few questions this year.Goober McTuber wrote:I wasn't complaining, and wouldn't have mentioned it at all but I was going to post about Stanford anyway. If you're going to throw Rumps a bone, make sure it has some meat left on it. Shamu's gotta eat.

Thank you, Captain Obvious. I think there's a few games there that would qualify. A couple of them I'll actually watch. And yes, I knew that Lefty always chooses the must-pick.Dinsdale wrote:Wait -- we've been doing this for how many years, and some people didn't realize the must-pick is usually a matchup between teams that the game entrants root for, when possible, or involves at least one team with a fan here?
Alrighty.
