If my mod keys gave me the access, I would've archived those threads long ago, when they were still worth looking up in the archives and re-living.

Let's put it this way. Back in the day, reading Dr Detroit and Index fight each other on their views would be entertaining at first.....maybe about 10 exchanges or so if you're into their battles. You really want to read them going round and round for 27 pages? No. But by Felix logic, it would be the hottest thing here because it has the most replies.

I say give a thread enough time to let everyone get their shit in, and save it for posterity or lock it when it gets redundant. The discussion will get picked up again, hopefully with new eyes and angles. To a certain extent, that is what happened after the first bloated thread got moved on.
