you ridiculous hillbilly, you somehow sneaked your hollow observance of Martin in a few minutes before mine. Of course you've nothing to say--you can barely speak, let alone write.

Just go away. No one will miss you.

If he was all that he would've discovered your remarkable talent and you'd be famous as opposed to being known solely for vying for this message board's chief tard.

So I've heard.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

So Jeff Beck worked with George Martin at some point in his life? So we are suppose to draw lines to get to the conclusion instead of just posting the conclusion???? Just post a pic of Sir George and shut the fukkk up!

A record producer is remembered for his albums, and while the Beatles albums were probably George Martin's most famous projects, his greatest, in my humble opinion, was Jeff Beck's Blow by Blow. The story behind the project is pretty cool, as Beck was at a crossroads in his style--and was struggling to find the right form and sound for his new sound and tunes.. The sessions were intense and fairly long by Martin's standards--who usually worked very directly and efficiently. The hinge to the making the magic happen was bringing in the great drummer Richard Bailey--and miking his drums just right, really close and full, suffusing every track. The results of course were amazing, as Beck went from a rock star to a guitar god with one album. And Martin was completely responsible for putting the album together.

The playing on my take of Villanova Junction is pretty good. Notice how it fits right in with the bass, and how the harmonic structure is adhered to--unlike gravy guzzler's clumsy and crude mistake in this regard. As for the tone, it's intentional. I use different tones--heavier, cutting blues, etc.--though I find the heavy-metal sonic assault not only boring but an insulting affront..

Of course Jeff Beck is three quarters deaf, as is Pete Townsend....

Huh? What exactly are you waiting for? Look, for some reason you took it upon yourself to attempt to play the Hendrix tune which I had put up as a statement about 9/11. You made two attempts, and both times you couldn't seem to understand the basic harmonic structure of the three chord song. Okay...so who gives a fuck about your lawn mower metal noise? Who? Obviously not me. I've patiently explained that I find your hillbilly shredding to be boring and absurdly immature. And yet you're gnawing my ankle, whining like a little bitch and insisting that I learn your crappy song? What the fuck is wrong with you? You know nothing about George Martin, fracking, any sort of political issues, or anything. When you appeared on the T1B radio hookup, you could barely even speak, let alone have anything to say about anything. Seriously, you're a genuine fraud on every level. And really disgusting, as per your "shutyomouth" nic.

Is this this your childish way of demanding attention? Look, if you think Hendrix's Villanova Junction is "remedial" than perhaps you're pre-remedial, because in the two (not "several") attempts to play it, you couldn't even get the chords right. You keep ignoring this glaring fact as though it doesn't matter--or worse, in some feeble state of denial--that you in fact "killed" it. Well, bullshit, your lead playing over the wrong chords was boring as shit both times. And, for that matter, you also missed the chords on the slow blues in G which you approached as a simple three chord 1-4-5 blues. As for "breaking down" my playing, more bullshit. All you've done is offer catty remarks, often sort of backhanded compliments--like "it's not him," which is to say it couldn't be me playing that lead and so forth. And you even have the ignorant gall to insist that i'm not playing lead at all on the track. Well, you're a simplistic ignorant trailer park fraud. Of course it's lead playing all the way through, and yes I incorporate chords and shards, nuances, octave shapes, etc. And moreover, I actually play lots of other styles, unlike you and your boring metal shred crap. Bottom line, I posted my track for my purposes, not yours. I never asked you to attempt it, and I stated right up front exactly why I have no interest in playing your crap. So cut your brat act, though this would seem impossible because that's who and what you are.

No one said anything about Hendrix's improvisations or mine, but rather the plain fact that you couldn't get the chords right--and thus your improvisations were fucked from the get go. Same with the slow blues in G. Your opinions of Hendrix and so forth are similarly moot. Sure, I gave some encouragement because I'm that kind of guy--and too I praised your overall production sound. But that had nothing to do with the music you were playing or the suggestion that I would play your songs.

Your denial seems stuck in high gear. You couldn't even pick up a three chord tune. You couldn't pick up the inner chords of the slow blues. You're confused as to what constitutes improvising and lead playing. You seem to believe you're engaged in some sort of contest. You can barely speak, let alone write, and you've nothing to say regardless.

Why are you still here?

On a slightly related note:

Any of you guitar players (sup Not LTS) ever use Catalinbread pedals?

Dude who started and runs the company was driving to the Coast from Portland last night during a storm, and a tree blew down onto his car and killed him.

But think about it, if you're going to go out--leave the stage, chased by a bear--well wouldn't you want it sudden and unexpected, an accident? So you'd be spared the long demise of illness, or for that matter the kidnapper's ticking ransom death threat, or the frozen terror of a car-jacking 9mm to the face, or the horror of being stranded in the WTC tower as the floor gives way? With an accidental tree-falling death, you'd be properly grieved, and you wouldn't have to suffer. Of course if the tree merely pins you and a rabid and hungry coyote finds you and you're slowly eaten, face first, well you'll probably have some final regrets.

Any Beatle track you can hear pre-production, is better than what showed up on the album. Thanks for the whoopie-cushion effects, George. Tony Hatch would kick him straight in the balls.

I need to break in my new Stihl. I will happily fly out to you, turd and drop a sufficiently sized tree on you today. I'll even buy the plane ticket and pre-mix. Fairly sure I could get a little financial support here for this mercy mission.

Pretty lame Robert Planet tune, but I'm intrigued by the obvious quality of the Catilinbread pedals. Wow! I like and want this one. How much do you think it runs..? $300?
