My point being that Alabama does that all the time with good OOC teams.

I think the bigger issue is MSU now opens the season I believe with the mighty Furman Paladins, because they couldn't find a suitable replacement in time. So people will knock their OOC schedule without knowing the backstory. At least ND is back on the slate.

MSU may not be as good as Alabama at football, but at least they aren't pussies. I don't get what Bama is so afraid of.

I wish MSU could have made that game more competitive, but just getting to the second ever Final Four after a season chock full of injuries and adversity was still pretty cool. It was a season of over achievement and a win against Jesus Harbaugh in his first year, a win in the Horseshoe, and the Big Ten title, made it all worth it.
