Outlook Receiving Slowly
I'm running Win 10 & Office 2010. The email on my desktop arrives about 5-10 minutes after it comes in on my phone. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Re: Outlook Receiving Slowly
In whatever mail client you use, there should be a setting to adjust the frequency of how often the client should check the server for new messages.
There shouldn't be any problem setting it to the lowest time figure...1 minute...5 minutes or so...

Re: Outlook Receiving Slowly
Here are my settings (using Mozilla's Thunderbird mail client)...
As you can see, I have it set to check for new messages every 10 minutes.
Also, I have Leave messages on server checked, so I can check and read messages on all my devices.

Re: Outlook Receiving Slowly
I just checked mine & it was set for 30 minutes. I have no idea how it got that way, as I've never seen those settings before. Hopefully this will fix it.Shlomart Ben Yisrael wrote:Here are my settings (using Mozilla's Thunderbird mail client)...
