Hmmmm, Madtown, 165 miles away, roughly 2 hr drive, McGoobs with a nice collection that I want to partake in but unfortunately the wife would say, who? why? what? are you insane, you don't know him?

Nice collection Goobs, I wish I kept some of the local stuff from where I grew up in Paducah KY and even better the shine that is distilled in the area, good stuff.

Too bad I can't make a side trip your way when we head to family in Sheboygan.

No. That shit is absolutely far and away the very best whiskey I've ever tasted. By a long shot. There's a reason it regularly sells on the secondary market for $800 a bottle.

Wine racks have a little slope from back to front. It accomplishes the same thing. As Dinsdale said, you want to keep the cork wet.

Today's addition to the collection. This is a gimmick whiskey. Whiskey barrels loaded onto a boat for 6 months. Exposed to the elements and the salt air, sloshed around in the barrels greatly increasing the whiskey's contact with the wood. I'll withhold judgement till I've had more than a fairly small sample.
