It was a bad weekend all around.

Stanford lost.
SDSU lost.
The Chargers are still in San Diego.

Cal won.

On the other hand...

The Giants made the playoffs.
I woke up on Saturday AND Sunday.
My house didn't burn down.
I still live in paradise.

I didn't go to Stanford OR SDSU.

My parents and sister went to Stanford and I used to go to all the games with my dad.
My daughter is a grad student at SDSU and a lot of my friends and co-workers went there.

My alma mater never has had a football team, though the topic seems to come up every few years. They do pretty well in Div II stuff though.
