Stanford @ Oregon :-(
WTF happened Dins?
This used to be a big game. Your defense is making even Stanford look good.

Re: Stanford @ Oregon :-(
Didn't this game determine the conference championship for several years? The nation's eyes on it and stuff?
Oregon hired a big name D Coordinator, which propelled them to something like 127 out of 128 FBS teams. Haven't wrapped up and tackled anyone all year... but why bother wrapping up on that pussy McCafferey, right?
Indeed, Oregon's D is making Furd's pathetic excuse for an offense look like world-beaters. They'd fit right in in the Big12.
I think the problem with both teams was they both had a couple of recruiting classes, and the holes are showing. Stanford's aren't nearly as bad.
Oregon has some awesome players... just not enough to make up for the positions that are deficient. But with 4 O-Linemen starting all season, it bodes well for the future. Freshman QB, too. Still got a stable full of RBs and WRs... we'll get 'em next year. And the year after. And the one after that.

Re: Stanford @ Oregon :-(
But as solace, at least I get to spend the next couplefew hours basking in the glory of being a USC fan.

Re: Stanford @ Oregon :-(
LOL. Yep.
Your QB has big talent and potential. Not so sure about Chryst but he has a strong arm and he's a damn sight better than Burns.
Way too many dumb and sloppy plays on your side. Too bad to see Royce finishing his time in Eugene like this. Gotta RACK Cameron Scarlett for his first TD.

Re: Stanford @ Oregon :-(
There's a slight shred of hope that Royce stays (very slight) -- he had an off year with the injuries (rumor has it he's been playing with a broken sternum... ouch), and he comes from a line of academic freaks (mom is a college professor).
Oregon's best offense was Stanford committing stupid unsportsmanlike plays.
Nice to hear UDub's band playing Johnny Q -- an old classic from the state of Oregon (by a bunch of Beavs). They're also big on another Portland standard -- Louie Louie. And they let Uncle Phil dress them. Even when they're a better team than us, they're still our BITCH.

Or I would if schmickbode was actually a thing.

Re: Stanford @ Oregon :-(
In his defense, he's yet to make out with his mom on the sidelines, like a certain former Fusky QB.schmick wrote:Browning is a fraud with a weak arm who sacks himself
I cracked up when he dodged all those tackles, then tripped over his own feet when he got in the clear.

Re: Stanford @ Oregon :-(
You're welcome, Schmick.
And Ducksfan now has a ray of hope for next year.
