Playoff Predictions

Post by MgoBlue-LightSpecial »

Let's see if anyone can nail it.

I'm going:

1 LSU vs 4 Alabama
2 Florida State vs 3 Oklahoma

I've got LSU winning the SEC, but the committee won't leave out a 1-loss Bama. The winner of Clemson vs FSU is a de-facto play-in game and I've got the Noles at home. Oklahoma returns a lot and should win the Big 12.

I see the Pac 12 cannibalizing itself again, and the B1G will get iced out as Michigan, Michigan State, and Ohio State will all lose 2 or more games.

That said, I sincerely hope I am wrong about all of this.

You didn't even have the balls to seed your teams, Braveheart.

1 Bammer vs 4 Notre Dame
2 Clemson vs 3 tOSU

Bammer vs tOSU in the final.

Buckeyes win.

1 Ohio State vs 4 Alabama (Les Miles fucks up a game after beating the Sabot)
2 Oklahoma vs 3 FSU

MNC - OSU beats OU, but Meyer remains a penis head.

Ohio State comes in the year ranked 128 out of 128 in returning experience. I know Urban reloads, but yeesh, that is a lot to overcome. They are particularly young in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Schedule is manageable enough they should still 10 games.

#1 LSU vs #4 Florida St
#2 Clemson vs #3 Oklahoma

Alabama has too much to overcome in lost experience. I understand they prove us wrong, but @ Ole Miss, @ Tennessee and @ LSU I see two losses.

Bama vs Clemson in the rematch.

FTFY

I'm thinking that being able to recruit and develop quality QBs is, in the long run, preferable to having to shop for a graduate transfer every year.

that would be a rematch of September 17 in Norman. so, you are picking Ohio State #1 to beat Oklahoma twice.

i think if Oklahoma loses in Norman to Ohio State on 9/17 they aren't in the championship game.

not saying it couldn't happen, just wondering if you are aware that one of those teams will have a loss on 9/18 due to the other.

i don't disagree about Urban capital reference as such.

Like the one last year that put the wood to Stanford?

For the first time in seemingly forever, the Ducks are stacked up deeeeep at QB. Got a freaking local Eugene walk-on who is better than any QB Furd has had in the last couple of decades.

Don't you worry your shiney little head about our QB situation, buddy -- the cupboard is quite full. Worry about 11/12, instead. Heck, maye your lot can win their fourth game in 15 tries if you wish reallyreally hard, and keep making QB jokes.

I'll give myself partial credit. Toss out the obvious homer pick, and I was OK. Thought the B1G might eat itself a little more.
