See LTS, even the little attorney knows it isn't a switch. Decent chance he even knows what code to squawk for a hijacking.

Dan Vogel wrote:I am reading the text, a-dad.Poptart, I read the bible and consider myself a follower of Jesus also, I do not see where it describes a flat earth, instead I see that GOD created the universe. Why? in your mind are you trying to limit what GOD can do by limiting it to a flat plane. Why? are you limiting GOD's ability to provide wisdom to us to understand the incredible universe He created.
I could post a lot of things in response to these few sentences of yours, but I will point something out and then ask you a simple question.
Genesis 1:14-18 - God set the sun, moon, and stars in the firmament.
Genesis 1:6-7 - God placed waters above the sun, moon, and stars.
Psalms 148 - These waters above the sun, moon, and stars are established forever, by His decree.
Question: Where do you think these waters are located?

If you paid attention to my previous posts about lack of earth curvature, you would know that height above sea level is accounted for in the math used to calculate it.
At any rate...
In this video, the observations are done at water level.
Surely you can't be trying to tell me that the earth curvature rate is somehow different over Lake Michigan compared to the earth curvature rate over Lake Winnebago.
But then again, I should be accustomed to people trying to tell me ------> weird, wild, wacky shhhtuff.
Have a nice day.

A-dad, you should watch the video that I posted for you a couple of weeks ago.a-dad wrote:So, I will reiterate, I think you are an IDIOT and it pains me that an IDIOT believing in a flat earth is trying to spread the word of Jesus Christ.
None of the pilots of the four American Airlines planes signaled a Hijack Alert...not one...so?Left Seater wrote:See LTS it isn't hard. No need to make crap up.
But by all means link us up to a photo of this switch the pilots could have thrown to squawk 7500.
And FAIL. Tell your masters to tighten their shit up so you don't look like a first grader when you cut and paste this garbage.LTS TRN 2 wrote:

Poptart, you are a funny guy. Funny in a crazy sense, but funny.Dan Vogel wrote:
This is supposedly Felix from 25 miles up...
haha!
It's a fish eyes lens.
The Felix dealie proved exactly nothing.
Scott, the rocket launches Jayne posted were EASILY taken apart.Scott wrote:Regarding your obsession with this silliness, I'll only comment on things I have a substantial understanding of - Cameras and lenses are one of those subjects
I understand how they work - you don't.
Fisheye lens were built to increase the horizontal (or in some cases vertical) FOV back in the analog & film days because digital cameras/ panoramic "stitching" of shots had not been invented
Today multi sensor imagers are available on 360 degree cams which make fisheyes basically obsolete.
Every "explanation" you offer when anyone presents you with the obvious pertaining to this subject is "it's photoshop, lenses or computer animation" - yet you have zero experience or frame of reference with any of these things.
Your basis for making these claims is they don't pass your eye test, yet there are thousands, if not tens of thousands of camera and video experts who could easily confirm your suspicions - but they don't because they know they're not faked
The rocket launch Jay posted is the best example - it's something you've asked for multiple times, yet once presented with it you deny it as well - simply because it doesn't fit your narrative
Are you?Jayne wrote:I am a photographer, professionally speaking

Wait, what?Dan Vogel wrote:
3. Knowing the 'tard chorus would be screaming "REFRACTION!! REFRACTION!" the scientist showed near the end of this video that refraction used as the excuse for the lack of curvature is quite dubious because there needs to be a 9 ft difference in curvature (if the earth is your globe) at 6 ft eye height compared to 3 ft eye height.
The difference is only about 1/3 of that.
lolJayne wrote:Dumb fuck, that is NOT a fish eye lens, otherwise the entire fucking image would be distorted with the effect.
Also, coming in as poptart and addressing Dan Vogel in the third person is more than a little psycho.
Grow up already old man, this is humiliating for you.
Oh my goodness.Dunce wrote:Wait, what?
Some "scientist" is trying to tell you that refraction is a constant?
You might wanna shop for a new "scientist."
Here's a hint, Caveman -- refraction changes constantly. And when you change altitude, refraction changes very quickly.
BTW -- ever heard of a mirage? Weird how something far away can appear close... think hard now.
What you don't know about really basic scientific shit could fill a whole buncha bibles.
Let me help, since you're a tard -- light only travels in a straight line in a vacuum... dumbfuck. Ever put your hand or a stick into a pond/bucket/whatever?
WHOA!!!!! Look at that!
I obviously DO NOT, 'tard.Squat wrote:Why would you assume the same lens is used in both the red Bull pic and the NASA pic?
Obviously.Scott wrote:I have no idea what the earth is "supposed to look like from 25 miles up
Okay, some clarification on numbers here. The curvature of the Earth becomes visible around 35,000 feet. Our intrepid space sky diver jumped from about 25 miles, equating to 132,000 feet, around five time the distance. So yes, the curve would be pronounced. The picture you keep referring to as "fish eye" is more akin to a wide angle lens. Scott has already given some great examples of the way an image changes due to the type of lens and aspect ratios involved. The "distortion" in that image of the Earth, is in part due to the lens, enhancing the way the planet appears below. Nevertheless, it is still a spherical planet.Pus Twat wrote:Blah blah duck and evade, blah Bible bullshit, blah.
Can we get further clarification on those numbers?Jay in Phoenix wrote:

I have a post graduate degree that involved a quite a bit a of physics and a lot of math, I have essentially done the research. The physical world would not be as we know it if it were flat. I am going to presume that you are a fucking retard that is incapable of doing the proper research. As for your 4 issues...
Research them for yourself... if you want to.
It is evident that whatever I post is not well-regarded by you.
And one should do their own research anyway.
As I said, I assumed "flat earth" was asinine for a while, too.
Until I decided to look at it.
Most people choose not to look -- and they then call other people idiots, without really knowing anything about the topic.
