So, a big name school takes their coach, to a team that has an order of magnitude more talent than USF, and isn't in the Top 25 (nor should they be), and USF is underrated?
I don't expect Michigan State to crack the top 25 this year at any point. I think they'll be better than last year but probably not by much. There is talent in the starting units on both sides of the ball but the team sorely lacks depth right now. I just hope they can make a bowl.
I expect Syracuse to get some votes, mostly from coaches of teams are scheduled to play. They are starting to get some four-star prospects who are at least professing mild interest in the program. This is what we call progress as Orange fans.

Is it basketball season yet?
Thanks for the lifting.

i agree that Texas is getting a lot of "benefit of the doubt"....but they should be better. they were "highly regarded" last year after beating Notre Dame. UT will be better....they lost to friggin Kansas last year. took the Jayhawks into OT, though.
lot of variables at play in Dallas for OU-UT.
