When did this happen?

The right seater and I were right behind a accident today in Colorado Springs. He was driving, I was looking for info on our hotel on my phone and next thing you know he is slamming on the brakes and we strength tested our seatbelts. There is a loud crunch sound, but turns out it wasn't us. Good job by him.

We get out and look around and three cars are involved. Most of the people are out of their cars and moving around just fine. From what we could tell one car ran a stop sign and hit another car in the intersection. The third car was hit after the initial impact. The drivers we two women and one man. Once everyone was sure they were ok, it started getting loud. The two women quickly ramped up and while talking were clapping their hands. After an initial what the hell moment I looked at the right seater and he shrugged. Same for the man involved. The longer the two women discussed the accident the louder and louder their clapping got. It was hard to understand them.

Officers were along quickly and the right seater gave his statement and left his card and we left.

And this wasn't a race thing as multiple races were involved.
