I don't know how long it's going to last. But it sure is nice to see Syracuse playing competitive games that mean something this late in the season.

I've even got a friend who swears that the cuse is going to beat the domers. But I think he's off his rocker. But if they can win every game left but that one, they're going to a respectable bowl game. Which I never thought I'd even consider as possibility again in my life.

Dino Babers must be a great coach. He had Bowling Green flying high and it's taken him no time to get Syracuse to respectability.

It's been 3 years. Which is practically no time at all when you consider how devastated the program had gotten in the years after Paul Pasqualoni was fired. And they could be even better next year when Tommy DeVito gets under center. What Cuse needs to do now is sign his ass to an extension. They are a private school, so money shouldn't be an obstacle.

It took a Jersey kid to save his ass against North Carolina and FSU. Tommy DeVito is the real deal if his brain is anywhere near as good as his arm.
