Clemson has a cake walk schedule..over All day.
I'll take the over on OU and the Under on Tejas.

Oregon will win like...17.

If we're looking at regular season, make it 12...so OVER.
Easy schedule, potent offense, and if LBs do their job the defense will be excellent.
Think they'll play LSU or aTm in the playoffs?
Re: Your teams win total...pick ‘em
Did they play LSU or aTm when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
That wasn't what I meant when I said August isn't the time for reality. But in fairness, Sam's scenario has the exact same probability as my 17 win prediction.

August ..of all the months from January until Sept. IS the best time for speculation and prediction.

Let me clear this up for you goobers.
If we’re including the playoff, Alabama will win 14 games. Not 15 as they wrap up another title because I see them dropping a game to either A&M or LSU during the season.
Perhaps I should read over my posts before assuming that you OUers (both) can interpret my Bamaese!
just bustin' balls, Sam!

Mich State over 7.5 is easy money.
Michigan under 9.5
Louisville over 4
Northwestern over 6.5

Re: Your teams win total...pick ‘em
strictly for betting....Utah 9, take Over....Pac South is a dumpster fire, experience at QB, by far the best coached and most physical defensive team in the South and best in Pac outside maybe UW.
Baylor, 6.5 take Over, Charlie Brewer is a good, young QB. also, got that "QB from Austin, and no sniff from UT" mojo going like so many others....Brees, Mayfield, etc. BU's OOC is very weak and get a slew of "equal talent conference teams" at home. all i need them to do is go 4-4 after OOC.
also, Big XII, kinda like the Over with OSU and TCU but it gets mathematically weird picking 3 teams in the upper-middle of the pack to go Over. Though, i think TCU is tier up from OSU and BU. Patterson's QB situation is always a mystery/sideshow, seems.
the OU/U of O thing is confusing since the Big 8 schools all did that (except the ag schools, ISU, OSU, KSU...). they called themselves University of Oklahoma, University of Nebraska, University of Colorado etc.....but all had OU, NU, KU, CU helmet/sport logos.
it was just a "thing". not sure if there was ever any official logic to it.
i will say i've never seen Oregon referred to as OU. always UO.

Re: Your teams win total...pick ‘em
Not the safest bet. First game is @BYU next Thursday night. Home dog (+5) on a weeknight? No guaranteed win. Then 2 creamfuffs to finish the OCC. Then @USC... on a Friday night. Wazzu at home. @UDub, @Zona.
I could see things going sideways on UU in a hurry. That said, they could win 10. 9 is sketchy, at best.

Re: Your teams win total...pick ‘em
fair points. i looked at the schedule....conference start has got some landmines. i guess i'm betting USC/Helton will go sideways faster than UU could. i think they can handle Wazzu in SLC and am counting @UW as a Ute L. i'm not a believer in the Arizona schools (and while Tate is dangerous I'm mos def not a Kevin Sumlin believer)..but concede they (Arizona and ASU) are always unpredictable.Dinsdale wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 7:36 pm

Be it under RichRod, or even Sumlin, it seems like Zona always catches someone napping every season (sup U of O). And also gets caught napping at least one game per season.

If 5 is the line for SU, I am taking the over. They have three non conference walkovers which gives them 10 competitive games to manufacture 3 wins. I think they will get at least 7, maybe 8 if FSU is still shitting the bed.

You didn't watch the game ?
Awesome.
For those of us who did... Arizona should have lost by 35.
They weren't napping... they just suck and have a shitty coach.

I'd take the over of 8.5.

Re: Your teams win total...pick ‘em
9.5 is the line I would've put on Michigan...I've got them as either a 9 or 10 win team.
Scary to think there might be as many as 4 or 5 losses on that schedule but that's just because I don't know what this team will be. They've lost a lot of talent on defense. I'm intrigued by Gattis on the offensive staff. I want to see a new look offense but it'll still have a lot of knuckle-dragging Harbaugh stank on it.
