By your logic, the banks own EVERYBODY, including yourself.Softball Bat wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 3:33 amSomeone else?.088 wrote:My view on him (Trump) personally has not changed. I wish there was someone else who could go to DC and effect the necessary changes.
As if Donald Trump was ever going to be one who would go to DC and effect the necessary changes.
I am nearly pissing myself laffing at how foolish and naive you are.
You damn SIMPLETON.
Donald has been owned by the bankers for all of his adult life.
He is still owned by them.
Powers far greater than Donald allowed him to build in all of these prime locations around the world.
They allowed him to have a prime-time hit TV show.
They allowed him to do all of the things in his life that made him who he is.
The bankers, the powers, THEY propped this guy up.
They fucking OWN this gimp, you flaming DUMBSHIT
And you voted for HIM to be the guy who would "go to DC and effect the necessary changes?"

Americans have woken up to the liberal/conservative 3-card-monte scam. It's over for The Establishment and it's never coming back.

It's not about what language people speak among their own, dumbfukk. It is about NOT learning OUR fukking language well enough to be a productive member of society.Screw_Michigan wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2019 7:28 pmWhy do you give a shit what language other families speak? I've never understood people who actually care about this.Left Seater wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2019 6:37 pm You also brought up illegal immigration. Yes we were/are a nation of immigrants. However, we didn't allow mass migrations and open borders. My family came into the US via Galveston and Ellis Island. The German portion the settled in Central Texas had to deal with all kinds of shit. The older generation would not allow German to be spoken outside of their home and my Grandmother was punished for speaking German by her mother. This didn't cause our family to lose its German roots. Further those immigrants wouldn't think of accepting welfare, and worked their ass off. Compare that to today where we have people that want to fight against secure borders. This is beyond my comprehension and no argument they have made makes any sense. Further, if I were a poor US citizen and I saw this movement for sanctuary cities and allowing non-citizens to vote and have IDs and to collect welfare and health services while I wasn't getting the same, would be very upsetting. We need to take care of our own first.
Is it because you're too stupid to learn another language? I mean you're pretty damn dumb and all, but I don't think you're that stupid. Like Pikkkle stupid.

There are Puerto Ricans in this area, mostly older ones, who have lived in this country many years and still can't put together a sentence in English. Every thing they could possibly need is in espanol.
Actually, they've lived in "this country" their entire fukking lives, assuming they were born after the Spanish American war. How in the fukk a territory of the United States is allowed to raise their children without being fluent in the mother tongue of their country, is inexplicable to me.
My maternal grandparents came over from Italy in the 20s. Actually, my great grandfather came over about 15 fukking years earlier. He had to come alone, because he had to establish himself and prove that his family wouldn't be a burden. Why isn't this sort of system still the rule?
Wanna be an American?
File paperwork, come over alone and stay with your cousin till you get on your feet. When you can afford to support them, bring'em the wife and kids over.
And tell them what the immigrants here told their families 100 years ago. You're an American now. Act like it. And the start of acting like it, is speaking like it.
My mother's first language was Italian. My grandmother says she was fluent in it at 3. She was also fluent in english. She is still good with English, but largely forgot Italian. She says she can half-ass understand it, but can't really speak it. I think it is kind of a shame that she didn't keep it up, but the attitude at the time was, you're American now. Don't worry about the old country's language.

I am thankful for this country because of what I experienced within the past 48 hours for my own personal health and my dog’s as well. I just don’t know how else I would’ve accomplished this on my own if I was at most other countries.

To me, your analogy is apples to oranges.Kierland wrote: ↑Sun Nov 24, 2019 8:39 pm Can you live in Mexico without learning Spanish? We hear that question often from aspiring expats in the U.S., Canada and elsewhere who have their sights set on moving to Mexico.
The answer is both yes and no. Let’s take a closer look.
In our annual Expats In Mexico Survey that we conduct in January of each year, just 9 percent of those who responded said they were fluent in Spanish. Another 21 percent claimed conversational capability. But just over half – 54 percent – said they knew enough to be understood and 16 percent said they do not speak Spanish at all.

Kierland throws around words like xenophobic, racist, misogynistic, islamophobic, etc.
