Its not like kendra had tons of experience. He could have made similar mistakes against NS State. All I'm saying is that Weinke was the last good thing that has happened to the program. He brought a confidence and a swagger to this team. He led us to 3 straight title games, a national champ and the Heisman. I wouldnt risk giving that up to do it all over again and see what an injury plagued, workout freak would have done.

He led us to 2 straight NC games not 3. Outzen beat the gates not wienke.

While Kendra was the beginning of the end, Wienke was the end of the last great FSU QBs.

I am not disrespecting Wienke. But Kendra could ball.

Oh I know. I guess I misunderstood. I wish we could have seen Kendra play b/c at 6'2 230, he had a rocket for an arm and could run. Being that he was from Pennsylvania, no doubt he could ball. Most QB's from there can.

Doesnt florida grow their own QB's? Its funny that a state as talent rich as Florida has produced so few good QB's that the schools their rely so heavily on imports at that position

Claussen has said that he wasnt going to play far away from home like his brothers did, Notre Dame would be even farther from home than Tennessee. From what I have heard out of Mission Viejo is Reuland has narrowed it down to Stanford and UCLA, with USC sitting third (he is upset that USC signed a JC TE) apparently he didnt have too great of a recruiting trip to ND last weekend and didnt feel like that was a place he would want to spend the next 3-5 yeas. At least you guys still have Freddie Parrish errr nevermind

Reuland is overated. He lists a 4.7 40, which probably means he runs a 4.8 - 4.9.

Look for Fred Davis or even Patrick Hill (if he keeps growing) to kill SC opponents for the next 2-3 years.

Moline is over-rated as well. He'll be too slow to play D1 ball, unless he moves to fullback

USC has 10 five star players making their recruiting trip on Dec 2nd for the pep ralll before the UCLA game and then will be on the Coli floor for the game on the 3rd.

I figured with all the Conference Championship Games that weekend that some of those kids would have gone to schools n those games or stayed home to watch those games, schools probably cant host recruits when theyre in a CCG though

Fred Davis has to be one of the better turnaround stories of the year for USC.

Kid shows up late to practices and meetings a year ago and was written off by the coaches. Now he's a starter.

Reuland just canceled his visit to Stanford. That was ND's major competition. UCLA and USC were never serious players. He'll be Irish, if he isn't all ready. And he loved his trip to ND. "I went to Notre Dame and had a great time," he said. "I really liked it. I'm definitely glad I went. The whole scene on gameday was amazing. Charlie Weis and all the coaches really had it together. It's a really special place there and they're definitely one of my top choices."


Claussen's decision will come down to the future of Brady Quinn. Quinn stays, I bet he will commit. If Quinn leaves, all bets are off. Claussen right now is considering USC, ND and South Carolina so it doesn't appear to be a problem for him leaving home.

As for Parish, Willingham tried to give him the job on many occasions but Zibikowski beat him out every time. Transfering to Sam Houston or Stephen F. Austin was the best thing for him.

Claussen is a badass. Check out his Rivals videos. I cant believe the tape I was watching was of a sophomore. I think Claussen goes to ND or to South Carolina. If Spurrier lands him, the SEC is gonna shit its pants.

I think what Killian meant was that if Quinn stays that means who ever is the backup wont have a leg up on Claussen by the time Claussen would have got there. If Quinn leaves than in all likelihood the backup or a freshman recruit could win the job thus making it hard for Claussen to start right away. If Quinn stays then it would be an open competition Claussen's freshman year.

If Quinn leaves this year, there will be a junior, a soph, and two freshman competing to take over next year. If he stays, Claussen is going to enroll early and have an equal opportunity to beat out those 4 to be the starting QB.
