Ohio State.......Lose 9 starters on defense and Santonio Holmes and they're going to get better??? Troy Smith is a very good QB. But I'm not convinved Ted Ginn is anything more than a good return man with occasional signs of life at WR. Don't see him being a feature receiver. Gonzalez is solid though. But the offense is getting a lot more love than they deserve. Big-10 defenses will be a lot better this year than last. Anyone could move the ball last year against the Big-10 defenses and I think that's a big part of the reason tOSU was so good on offense. Pittman is maybe the 8th best RB in the Big-10. Inexperienced defense going into Austin against that running game = ambush. And then a couple weeks later they head to Iowa City to face one of the most talented offenses in the nation. That also = ambush. By September 30, they'll have 2 losses. And you can chalk another one up when Michigan comes into C-bus at the end of the year and beats them.

Well done, everyone.
This is why we keep track of what you say:
TheJON wrote:And then a couple weeks later they head to Iowa City to face one of the most talented offenses in the nation. That also = ambush.
and then:
TheJON wrote:What the fuck was I supposed to say before the game? Shit, everyone knew tOSU was gonna win by 20. I talked to very few Iowa fans before the game that thought we would win.
So which is it? Fuck man, if you call your shot, at least stick by it.

I'm guessing this is one of those times.. I love how when your team looses suddenly "work" becomes more important.

Peter....
Seriously man, you're not really this dumb are you? You're just playing an idiot on a message board, right? This is one of those times? One of what times? Dude, read above a page and you'll notice how I came in to give the Buckeyes props. I didn't duck anyone, nor have I ever. Like I said, it all depends if I feel like coming in to either give or get props. It's a fucking message board! I ain't 21 years old anymore, therefore, I don't get as much of a kick out of this as I used to. For the last mother fucking time......If Iowa wins, I may sign in, if they lose, I may sign in. Just depends on if I feel like it.
And Killian....
That was my pick BEFORE the year. I have to give the Buckeyes props, as they are better than I thought. I thought this was the team they'd have at the end of the season, but thought they may struggle early. Going into that game, fuck no I didn't think Iowa would win. Nobody in their right minds picked Iowa. Notice how last week I refrained from saying anything about Iowa winning??? I don't have to stick with a pick if things change. Iowa has been banged up a lot and Ohio State is playing better than I had expected. So that wasn't my pick going into the game.

way to BAIL on Your TEAM...in their Biggest Game of the YEAR!
yep, you're Honest...at least.
YOU could've come in with Reverse SMACK...I.O.W.A. isn't in good shape; hope they can SACK UP vs the BUCKEYES...don't like the trend. hope MY HAWKEYES can pull one out...
its that easy.

Way to bail? Or way to be realistic?????
If I think we're getting rolled, I'm not picking us to win. I didn't bail on the team. No one in Kinnick Stadium cheered louder last Saturday. I'm just realistic and know when my team is about to get rolled.
