Well, you may be half right. The Blots might not score very much, but Peyton and Co. most certainly will score at will.

I'd have to say right now... and correct me if I'm wrong here, Chargertard...
But I'm fairly confident that right now, Indy is the reigning Super Bowl champ, right?
Then again, the Chargers have NEVER been the reigning Super Bowl champ. Not right now, not last year, not ever... or do you tards need the trophycase.jpg as a visual aid here?
If you "matched up" with Indy, guess what? We wouldn't be talking about Indy as reigning champs, eh?
But please, I beg of you for strictly selfish enetertainment motives, please continue to make a case that Cry Me A Rivers is a great "matchup" with Peyton Manning... I beg of you.
I mean, CryMeA has a trophy case full of MVP awards, right?
RiverOfTears threw for more yards than Manning, right? Or at least had a better completion %, right? QB rating, at least? Threw less picks? Lost less fumbles?
Oh. Maybe the QB matchups isn't so hot.
Maybe some other areas are?
A Chargette WR led the NFL in receiving yards, right? Or at least TD receptions? OK... did a Charger WR at least lead the Chargers in receiving?
Oh. Maybe it was a Colt that led in yards.
OK, there's probably other matchups we can focus on, right?
Maybe the defensive side of the ball is a good matchup for the Chargers. San Diego led the NFL in fewest points allowed, right? OK, maybe they didn't. But at least the Chargers didn't give up a full 40 yards a game more than Indy, right?
Oh.
Well, on the bright side, at least the Defensive Player of the Year came from San Diego, right? That's got to create at least a little bit of a matchup advantage, right?
Man, how silly of me, to not see these OBVIOUS favorable matchups for the Chargers... my bad.
But seriously -- thanks for the entertainment, Chargertard... it's really all you're good for... and object of scorn and ridicule. But at least you wear it with pride.

It was against a big, physical defense that can get after it. Indy does not have a big, physical defense and they can be worn down. If Manning tries the same half-assed chuck and duck bullshit he ran out with earlier this year, it isn't even going to be close. But he's a pretty sharp guy so I don't expect that he will make those mistakes again.
This should be a very tight, low scoring game.
...if Gates is unable to answer the bell you might be right Wags. That would allow Indy to double Chambers and still effectively stack the box on LT, leaving Jackson as the go-to guy. Not a promising scenario.

Yawn........another season.....and more chirping from the cellar.
Raiduh Fan & Steeler fan predict a Charger loss? Wow, what insight, you mean the Chargers aren't favored this week?
Oakland most likely won't have a HC this time next week, wait Alcula will still be there, but the Chargers suck.
The Stillers resemble a Jerry Glanville run & shit team, barely holding off those pesky Browns, but the Chargers suck?
The bottom line is if you're not a fan of NE, Indy, SD, Jax, Dal, GB, Sea, or NYG....eat a dick.

That's right, I forgot...
Only Chargerfan et al possesses the intellect and insight to formulate an opinion on how they see the playoffs possibly going.
Oh, wait -- Chargertard proves time and time and time and time again that they are by far the stupidest collective group of retarded sports fans in the country.
Just because you finally won a playoff game this century, it doesn't suddenly give you some divine insight into football analysis. In fact, you could have 50 more playoff wins... and you're still fucking retarded... sucks to be you.
Trophy-less, mouthbreathing, and stupid is no way to go through life, son. And you actually have a say in
one of those things -- so close your mouth while you breath and call it a "victory," Chargertard.

Nobody was saying the Chargers suck. Just that Norv has yet to improve on what Marty did last year. If a Gates-less Chargers team can hold off the Colts this weekend, I'll gladly give him his props. But quit acting like your team has made some kind of monumental breakthrough.

The Chargers were 14-2 last year, and you won't find one take from me stating that. What I meant was the win in TN was the biggest win since the Chargers beat the Colts in Indy a couple of years ago.
This thread is full of whiners.....boohoo...Charger fan still sucks............

That's pretty funny, coming from someone whose team no one would have even heard of it it weren't for the constant whining from both the fans and players.

I'll give him his props. His team out hustled the Colts and was obviously better prepared than Dungy's squad.
But maybe you might want to wait until they win a Super Bowl before pulling out the "genius" tag?

Dude -- I'm not sure if you're seeing the trend here, but every time you use my name in a post, you generally score a direct plunger-hit to your bullseye.
The game was a win/win for me. No sweat off my back. If the Chargers lose, a team that truly lacks any class in their players or fanbase gets what's coming. If they win, the Duck genius comes to light.
All good. Especially since they did better without the two biggest whiners in the game (OK, maybe two of the top three, after a certain former Niner kind of upped the bar on whining last night).

No love lost here for Rivers. Dude is always running his mouth at someone, but he was actually having a pretty nice game before he tweaked his knee. 14 of 19 for 264 yards and 3 TD's does not suck.

I was suprised by how flat the defending champs came out, both sides of the ball.
Couple less-than-inspired offense with the very good secondary play of the Chargers, and there you have it.

Gutty playoff performance by the Chargers. No Rivers. No LC. No problem. RACK them.
Unwar -- Rivers pulling his usual bitch-like sideline antics. Dude was talking shit to the fans even though Volek went in there and won the game for them. No wonder LC blew off Rivers a couple of months ago during a game.

And he was on the sidelines as his team drove for the go ahead (and game winning) score. I am not saying had no role in the win. He was huge. However, he was on the sidelines come gut-check time. End of story. Who knows what would have happened had Cryin' Rivers been in there. He probably would have messed his drawers, as per usualm. All I know is, dude sure likes to run his cocksucker... this type of behavior doesn't exactly mesh with the "classy" image LC and your shit franchise hopes to portray.

Yep. Granted Indy didn't have Freeney, but they were stonewalling the pass rush and Rivers had all day to sit back there and find a target. Most any competent NFL QB is going to pick apart a secondary when they have little or no pressure on them to get rid of the ball quickly. That's why Brady puts up such ridiculous numbers.
