Somewhere on this site is a Concrete Blonde tribute thread done up by none other then Dinsdale himself.

What secret war, B-juice? The whole point of the New Pearl Harbor was to make it a 24/7 everybody frightened war.
Now, if you're suggesting that this was a fake--that the threat was somehow staged just to keep everyone on nervous Alert, well say it. Don't just piddle about with your usual witless snippets--and then when shown to have been a fool, pretend that you're still being coy.
You've actually never had a prescient take on anything, come to think of it. You sure missed this one.

The friendly skies might get even more "friendlier". When cavity searches are the put into place, I hope they at least give you a free dinner.
Thank goodness this latest "man-made disaster" was avoided. Wouldn't want the administration to have to engage in any further "overseas contingency operations" against terrorism. I'm not sure why more people are not blasting Obama for this charade of treating terrorism like liquor store hold-ups and being completely comfortable with reacting to civilians deaths rather than trying to save lives.

If it is, I sure hope Hooters is still running that airline.

Let me repeat that---Napolitano says that despite Abdulmutallab's success at getting dangerous chemicals on board the plane, commercial flying is safe.
Is this woman playing with a full deck ?? She admits the guy had chemicals to blow up the plane and says that the system is working ??? WTF ???
She should be fired yesterday !! Johnette Napolitano would make a better head of Homeland Security. They now want everyone to stay in their seats for the last hour of a flight and not allow pilots to tell passengers any ETA information ??? Why not just put bags over our heads and lock us in the seats when we get on the plane ? Better yet, just shut down the airlines and make people drive. We are truly living in an insane asylum.
So, how many planes have been blown up by terrorists lately?
How many people have died on the highways?
You are one seriously dumb pile of fuck.
The most dangerous thing about flying today is the chance of dying of hunger or a heart attack waiting in the fucking security lines so they can throw away some dumbfuck's water bottle. They should dismantle the entire TSA and start over. Even without them, flying would be safer than driving. I really can't wait to experience the Newark airport for my flight out tomorrow. Should be hella fun.

Of course flying is safer than driving. We accept something like a 50K:1 chance of being killed every time we get into a car. Of course that is just a raw statistic which does not take into account such variables as where you live and your driving habits.
Be that as it may, the Islamic terrorists are not interested in body counts as much as they desire to bring down the airline industry. Their actions along with our reactions are going a long way to resulting in just that.
BTW--it seems that Diogenes does not know the origin of my "Wolfman" name tag around here.

Good point. All I know about you is that you're 217 years old and can't spell Dumpster.
