Oakland, coming off a BIG division win and looking like it might be turning the corner to respectability faces a winless team ... and watches them capture their first win.
It's perfect.
49ers by 6.
Doinks can't run the ball v. the Jets = Doinks don't win.
Jets get a late FG to win it.
Chargers pound STL into the ground by at least 2 TDs.
KC lost by 4.
Oakland lost by 8.
Denver lost by 4.
Pretty/very good calls by poptart.
SD got punked by the Lambs.
Bad call by poptart - but who
did call that?
Soccer Mom Truman - did not have the stones to particiapte.

What exactly did I quit?
I'm here and posting as usual.
I'm still a Raider fan.
Oh, you're just babbling and making up fake bullshit like your KC admin.
I said I'm not interested in posting about the 'duhs because I'm tired of them not holding up their end of the bargain.
At some point (maybe after 7 straight seasons of double digit losses?) Mr. Fan says fuck off until you show me something.
From watching them in this early season, I concluded that nothing substantial has changed to give a fan a reason to want to talk about them.
So I won't type out takes about them.
Speaking of quitting, you were "gone" a lot during the time the Chiefs have sucked hind tit.
Soccer snot-nose carpool duties, I suppose.

Couldn't have written it better. So I let you. Change of career helps too.
Said it before:
This year feels a helluva lot like Marty's first. They finished 8-7-1 and out of the playoffs in '89, but they were competitive week-in and week-out, and you
knew they were going to get better. The same can be said of Haley's bunch
this year.
Yes, the Chiefs have many glaring holes talent-wise and are easily still a year-or-two away from any serious playoff consideration, but with the Rest-of-the-West collectively pissing down its leg this season, why not this year? A victory over Jacksonville will give the Chiefs three AFC wins and at least a one game lead in the Division, with a favorable schedule lying ahead. And speaking of the Jags...
No, ChiefFan DOES NOT look at this game as a "gimme". Jacksonville traditionally always deals the Chiefs fits, regardless of record. They are big, tough, physical, and match up well with Kansas City. And at 3-2 going into tonight's game with Tennessee, the Jags also happen to be pretty good this year too. The intangible is that we get them at home after they've had a short week to prepare. That's it. The rest should be nothing short of all out war. But with the way that Haley has his kids playing this year, I like our chances. Regardless, it should be a really good game to watch.

After the Titans get done mauling them tonight, that'll be a mighty tangible intangible that should remind of another recent event.

I like your attitude. However, I need about 37 points in Fantasy to win and I have Maurice Jones-Drew and Titans D/ST. Obviously, I'd prefer like 6 TDs from the Titan D/ST, but I'm honestly hoping for a shootout where the Titans ultimately win, but Jones-Drew gets 200 yards with 3 TDs. Then again, that's like wanting to have your cake and eat it too...hell, I was up 30.5 pts a couple weeks back with my opponent having only the NE Pats D/ST when they went off for like 32 points with all the ST blocks/returns for TDs. It could happen....
