Really pains me to say this, but Aggie looks pretty damn good this year and I am thankful they no longer play Texas because that team would shred what little defense the Longhorns have this year.
This is worse than BSH'ering, dude. This is Big12WearingTheirShitOnMyDicking.

PS: A&M would be fucking up the Big 12 this year, too.
Sure they would :meds:

Sin,
The previous 16 years where they only finished third or higher in their division three times.

I'm surprised your spreadsheet on me is out of date. Wait, no I'm not. Everything you do in life is wrong. And I don't drive on 96, plus they caught the guy. So as usual, swing and a miss.

Why didn't you address Nebraska last year?
Utah this year?
Missouri?
West Virginia?
TCU?

Because you're an idiot. Go back to the message board you found that stupid, fucking argument and see how they are arguing it.

Damn, Killian, you threw out way too many valid points there. You're going to really confuse the little fella.

people chill out. can't compare this aggie squad with the ones from previous years. freshman qb and rookie coach but there's lots of seniors including two 1st round talent o-tackles. can't speak to their ability in this year's big12 and can't compare this squad to the one that shit the bed in last year's big 12.

no viable comparison.

aggies were a decent team during their time in the big 12. when they were bad they were below average, and when they were good there was another one of the other teams in the division better than they were. can't say they eternally suck because they didn't win half the conference titles. can't say they sucked because oklahoma kicked ass.

Granted no Big XII team was on the field yesterday, but there are a few things that make you go hmmm.

As soon as Bama decided to try to stretch the field in the 4th they started finding success. Two long passes made the game a one score game and put them inside the 5 with a shot to win. Big XII teams are pretty damn good at that. Also notice how LA Tech gashed that same aTm defense.

So in the end we don't know if a Big XII team would have beaten aTm yesterday.

But huge props to aTM for winning yesterday.

You're right. aTm became juggernauts the moment they put on the SEC patch. It works like magic. No matter how shitty and disappointing your team has been the previous two decades putting on that patch makes every player on your team 15% more athletic, .3 seconds faster in the forty, and you add 40 pounds to your bench press. That patch is like Harry Potter's wand in the movies. :meds:

aTm only finished in the top half of the south division three or four times in 16 years . . .

this game is not some weird arrival statement for ATM football. they have done less with more than maybe even Mack for decades. as someone else pointed out, they damned near lost to La Tech. and fired 3 coaches in the Big XII era proper. their current coach is most famous for being Indiana's coach #2 at Oklahoma.

they won. hooray. kiss that other guy with tits next to you at Kyle.

K-State, OU, Texas, Oklahoma State, Tehc (at home), and Baylor (maybe - see La.Tech). And Mizzou has a shot at making it three-straight at Kyle in a couple of weeks, though I would imagine the Aggies to play a bit more inspired in hopes of avoiding the embarrassing tri-fecta on their home field.

A&M doesn't finish, Willie. Why is this so hard for you?

A middling team from the Big 12 knocks off the best the SEC has to offer. In their own house. But the SEC’s not overrated, right?

What part of my above post didn't you understand?

I think KSU, WVU, OU, Baylor and even Texas could hang in a shootout with ATM. All of those teams excel at getting the ball vertically down the field. ATM clearly struggles against teams that throw the ball in something other than the I formation. Granted it would be a track meet, but ATM wouldn't run away from any of them.

Sudden Sam wrote:I'm not suggesting that A&M is even a really good team.

No team that gives up 57 points to anybody should be considered a good team.

Bama got exposed by LSU. A&M attacked those weaknesses with a very mobile, very talented QB who killed us.

Bama had multiple opportunities to win the game. Very curious play-calling did us in.

Kudos to A&M for playing a great game.
Louisiana-Monroe, Louisiana-Lafayette, and Western Kentucky all say hi.

Dad-burn it, Buttsey, have you got me on "ignore"? Try to keep up. After 15 years of mediocrity, the XII ain't afeared of aTm. Every single one of those XII teams listed above can-and-does score points in bunches.

I suppose this is the part where you're gonna write, "yeah, but not against an SEC-caliber defense... Like aTm's." :meds:

Big 12 ball suckering = curious that a shit team leaves our conference and can all of a sudden win games

SECBSH = Woooo weeeee them boys is good they'd deliverance your entire conference even though they never have all those years they had that chance

SECBSH > B12BSH

And oh lookie, Sam all of a sudden has a problem with computer metrics now that the Big 12 gets credit for playing each the SEC's been riding that strategy for years.
