...Couldn't get to the game this week, so watching the blow-out errr game on the tube. Look's too easy thus far and with the Bolt's that's a BAD sign.
I like what I see to this point. Nice suction on the Chiefs safteys on the L.T. touchdown pass

Not really. SD's defense just saw that Surtain was playing lame on the field & went after him.

  ...Nobody within 15 yards of Parker, I'd say they bit pretty hard on L.T....the replay showed the corner and the saftey busting ass for L.T.

The corner being Surtain. He MIGHT have had the ability to catch up to the play if he wasn't limping...

Not making excuses for the failure to stop the play - SD saw the weakness and went after it, as they should have.

That being said - 30 yards passing for Green, and not one attempt to throw downfield in the first half, is keeping this game from going as I had predicted... everything else is pretty much what I'd figured. Dunno if the coaching staff is coddling Green because of his pop's death, but they're going to have to make some changes in the second half and go after the SD secondary.

Of course, the first play called in the second half? Halfback hitch.

With all due respect, if Green's head ain't in it, let him go to the funeral and put the backup in the game... whoever the healthy guy is.

About fucking time.

Maybe Priest should sit the bench for a few more plays... might help remind Al Saunders that he has an all-pro TE on the field most of the time, too.

That was a bodacious hit by Merriman, but clean. On the replay he ran 15 yards full speed and crushed Holmes.

I'll tell you this, the game is closer than I expected and that Jared Allen is a beast.
