WWW. Fire Bobby Bowdens ass............
It will never happen. Bowden has us by the balls.
Just came home from the game and am fully disgusted. Never sawe a team with more talent done so wrong by it's coaching staff.
case in point:
FSU's second play of the game, through a wide screen to counter the pass rush of NCS. Result- 22 yard gain. Never saw that play the remainder of the game.
FSU first and goal on the 5 twice- result, loss of yards both times and settle for a field goal.
10 minutes left in the game, FSU needs 2 td's to win. The ols fart panics and puts X lee in the game. If X is so hot and has such a command of the O, how come he is'nt playing? prior to that Weatherferd had only thrown 1 pick.
Net result- loss of yards and field posistion on both series Lee was in. Compunded by the fact that it burnt nearly 10 minutes of clock.
Greg Carr, probably 1 of the most unstopable recievers in the country- no catches. they went to him 2 times during the entire game.
3rd and goal from the 3, FSU does'nt throw the fade to Carr, but goes to Rouse, who just served a suspension for being an ass. Carr on the bench. Even if you don't go to Carr, us him as a decoy and he would at least draw double coverage.
I could go on and on but whats the point. FSU will not be a contender till Bobby does the right thing and hangs it up. His time has well been long gone.
Ity is such a shame that a team with so much talent under achieves so much.

Ohio is gonna ROLL you. NW will upset Ohio, and you'll finish tied with Iowa for 5th, bub! Admit it!
And the Alamo people, succumbing to the hype and lobbyists in AA, will pick you guys over mire deserving, better records teams!
Final order of finish in B10:
State Penn. 7-1 - (Congrats. JoPa = COY)
OSU 6-2
NW 6-2
Wisc. 5-3 (Head to head vs. UM = should get Alamo!)
UM 5-3 (Minny, Wisc. & ND loss makes you an also ran headed to nashville!)
Iowa 5-3
Deal.
Uhhhh.......it seems that UF....I don't know has a better record than your shit overrated every year squad. Nice season. Well Michigan did BITCHSLAP Florida around in the Outback 2 years ago I believe...
anyway FLA only beating Vandy by 7 and needing overtime...not sure what happened there with FLA...but to FLA's credit losing Wynn, baker, etc didn't/doesn't help...
but I can't say I am not glad the Florida is struggling somewhat...I mean they have beaten most of the teams they should have and struggled in other games...got rolled by Bama who is turning out to be the 05 version of 02 tOSU...
I am just glad Sparty, Iowa, and cal got their fucking asses beat...nuff said...

Trix,
Yeah cockbag I was rooting for your team to lose, mainly because I like when your team loses, only cause it's yours. I also liked the massive underdog factor. Tell me more about mediocrity. UF ought to know. Last I checked Michigan has been to BCS bowls each of the last 2 seasons. Keep proving your bitch status.

Not sure about mediocrity.....we're 7-2....and you???? Get your resos ready for Shreveport asshole.
buck: Not sure if you have heard of Jay Cutler but he will be a high QB selected. They play us tough every year. Dude threw for almost 400 yards many times on great coverage. Threaded needles all day.

Sorry dude, we actually have a guy that can coach now. You won't see our All-AMerican QB get rid of teh ball so a RB can throw an option pass. Fucking stupid. Grossman should have been throwing.
I like Meyer vs Carr match-up in our favor. You're not going to tell us that Carr is a good coach, are you?

I like the way Trex inserted his plunger in scUM fans arse.
Thanks for reminding scUM of the utter mediocrity that is LLLoyd Carr, for the last 8 seasons now. All 3 losses or more! With undeniably the top 5 or so recruiting classes in the Nation!
They CRY up and down about injuries, yet their god damn backups could be starters for 90% of the rest of the teams! At least according to the 6 recruiting rags they point to every god damn spring!

Ahhh, yes...the dilemma for many Michigan fans. Can't really give props to Carr because he is, in fact, simply a terrible coach. The level of talent on that team has made up for Carr's shortcomings...but not this year. This year's team just hasn't been able toovercome poor game planning and play calling.T REX wrote:Sorry dude, we actually have a guy that can coach now. BTW - yes, Michigan routinely gets a high preseason ranking, but, as we all know, that is pure speculation. There is nothing to blow. In any case, I seem to recall that Florida, more often than not, similarly and routinely failes to live up to the preseason hype.
So, uh, T Rex, take a seat, grab the nipple, and proceed to suck.
UF fails? Huh? We just jettisoned a fucking loser for a coach. RZ is doing wonders at IU. Meyer seems to be a great coach and motivator. Leak has had a hard time adjusting. We'll see.
Michigan has been disappointing for years since that MNC. You are steeped in tradition. The song and helmets are forever. Not saying they suck but your coach sure as hell does.

No but I do have an autographed photo of Desmond striking the Heisman pose. And I'm keeping it. I also have a Michigan Winged helmet signed by the 97 nc squad, I'm keeping that too. I do wish I had a Howard #21. See UM has rich tradition. I remember Biakabatuka shredding OSU for 300+ yards...I was there. I remember Ty Law not knocking the ball down, going instead for the int and letting Westbrook (who was from Detroit) make the improbable catch of the throw by Kordell. I saw Anthony Carter (ever heard of him junior) when I was a youngster, my dad took me to the games then, I'm sure you've seen the play against IU. I was there for hundreds of memories...now remind me again...how long has UF been relevent. Late 80's or so minus the Zook years.
Now get off Bab's thong and smell the real mediocrity..that is the entirety of UF football history.

Yes, much like Michigan, UF has failed to live up to much of the preseason hyper, i.e., preseason rankings. I recall seeing UF typically ranked in the top 10, even top 5-8 throughout the 90s and what did it garner them? Lots of hype...about it.T REX wrote:UF fails? Huh? So what's your point?
That Michigan failed to live up to the hype, yet, it has compiled a similar record since 1997. 5 conference championships and a national title.
You were criticizing Michigan as overrated every season. I simply stated that, like Michigan, Florida has similarly failed.
Your arguments rests on preseason rankings. Florida and Michigan are annually ranked very high on preseason lists and both have similarly failed to ultimately end up as high as those preseason rankings.

As far as Michigan's bowl placement goes, Babs is delusional . . . but then again, so are some of the UM fans on the board. Here's where the Big 10 bowl slots are headed:
PSU: BCS
tOSU: Capital One
Wisconsin: Outback
Michigan: Alamo
Northwestern: Sun
Minnesota/Iowa winner to Music City.
Minnesota goes to the Motor City if Iowa manages to pull the season-ending upset. Otherwise, Babs U could manage a bowl bid if it somehow manages to pull off an upset against either Minnesota or Penn State. Iowa will need a win against Minnesota to be bowl-eligible. Otherwise, this bid goes at-large.
If tOSU finds its way into a BCS at-large bid, ratchet every team behind them up one slot.
Btw, Babs, except for the conference champion, conference record has no bearing on bowl slotting. Overall record does, but even there the bowls have a "one loss" rule -- they're not necessarily required to take the remaining team with the best record, they can pass on that team in favor of any other team with no more than one loss more than that team. In other words, if the best remaining team has a 8-3 record, the bowl with that pick can pick any team from that conference with a record of 7-4 or better.

If tOSU winds up with a BCS at-large bid, look for Michigan in the Outback Bowl, likely opponent would be either Florida or Auburn.
