I just laugh my ass off every time I see that highlight, because I came to expect completely random insanity like this from Malik over the years. It's so him, seriously.

I was watching game on Center Ice during the shootout. They were talking about how he's got a good sense of humor. He looks like the gentle giant type. I got a kick out of his reaction. It's between his goal and Spezza's goal against Montreal a few weeks back are the early favorites for goal of the year. Malik's goal would win in a landslide if it was done in game action...I hope we see more of this type of creativity from players in shootouts.
