If that fucking idiot #15 Cassell ducks his head one more time on a tackle I'm going to drive down the Coliseum and kick his ass myself. Jesuc Christ, keep your head up and make a freaking tackle.
Dude, I was coming in here to actually start the same thread. What a fucking joke! What the fuck is a bruin? A colander? A sieve?
UCLA is NOT the number 11 team in fucking california let alone the country.
Embarrassing. Bush is obviously a great back but any of us could run through those canyons. Can you say losers. The whole Pac-10 has no defense. And please spare me with the "we have great offenses" bullshit. That is just shitty defense no matyter what angle you take it.

Oh and Jesus Christ couldn't tackle Reggie Bush today.

Just keep one thing in mind here people. It doesn't matter who lines up on the other side, USC's offense is going to put up 500 yards and as many points as they need.
Make it a truly big game and they're going to score as many as they want. Sooner or later people are going to have to recognize this facet of USC. Yeah, they can come out a bit flat now and then during the regular season. They can give up some points and yards. They can even be held below forty on offense. (Well, once anyway...)
Make it a big game though, such as a title game clincher or a bowl game, and they're going to step it up a couple notches and thoroughly kick your ass. Any defense, any team, any field. Make it a bowl game where it's their Super Bowl too instead of merely being only yours...and they're going to thoroughly kick your ass.
Buc said UCLA's D looked like swiss cheese? Yeah, it did. So did OU's last year, and they were supposed to be good. So did Michigan's the year before, and Iowa's the year before that...
Today was not Fresno State. Today wasn't a "look ahead" game. Today was a rivalry game, a statement game, and whenever it's a statement game USC makes any defense look like swiss cheese.
They're going to go for over 500 yards and at least forty points against Texas too. Bank on it.
-USC is going to be a lot more fired up in the Rose Bowl, playing Texas for the national title and the culmination of their Three Peat, than they were for Fresno State. Fresno State was the tweener game between Cal and UCLA.
-USC is going to have a month to get healthy for Texas. Their banged up D will be healthier and they'll be fully prepared.

Van...
-I'm sure Texas will downplay this game and come out with no energy or enthusiasm.
Come one nah!

Good luck with that. Your D is not what Longhorn Fan worries about.
Prime, I wasn't referring to Texas in terms of motivation. The point there was that unlike the Fresno State game Texas will not be fortunate enough to catch USC flat, injured and looking ahead.
As for not worrying about SC's D, I think you might wanna worry just a bit. OU didn't worry about 'em either. Also, UCLA has one of the best offenses in the nation and tonight when it truly mattered to USC the Bruins managed zero TDs.
As so often happens with less than five minutes remaining in games where USC is leading by fifty USC's third stringers finally gave up two cosmetic TDs to UCLA's starters.
Every year come bowl season SC's D is the supposed chink in their armor, the light at the end of the tunnel for their opponent. Every year, that light ends up being the oncoming train that runs 'em over.
Hopefully Texas will also overlook SC's D. I'd rather win by forty than twenty.
