Stanford took a 51-25 lead over Oregon at halftime tonight and cruised to an 88-69 victory. Matt Haryasz led the Cardinal with 20 points and 20 rebounds. Haryasz had 13 boards in the first half and left the game with about 5 minutes left after grabbing his 20th. Both totals were career highs for the junior forward. He made his first six shots in the first half, eventually finishing 8-12 from the field. He also had 4 (at least) blocked shots.
Chris Hernandez added 19 points (7-11 shooting, 4-7 from three point range) and 5 assists for the surging Cardinal, who have now won 6 straight after losing their first 3 conference games. They are now just one game behind Pac 10 leading Arizona, who lost at home today to Washington State. Stanford travels to Arizona next week for a Thursday game at Tempe against Arizona State and a Saturday morning game in Tucson against the 'Cats.
RACK MATT HARYASZ FOR HIS RARE 20-20 PERFORMANCE
