If Life was Like TV...

-which show would you pick?

Gotta go with the Waltons as my Number one. Owning your own mountain wouldn't suck.

Honorable mentions:

Munsters - for the cool house
Northern Exposure - for the cool town
Andy Griffith Show - for cool pals like Floyd, Goober, Gomer, and the Darlings.

Gotta go with Mayberry RFD and the Andy Griffith crowd. I mean, where else can a lost robot go for directions from the friendly and courteous constable.

I'd go with this:

There was one? Never heard of it.

Gilligan's Island wouldn't be bad, what with the Ginger and the MaryAnne. First order of business would be to bury Gilligan up to his neck in the sand and watch the crabs come in.

And don't forget the Baldwin sisters and their constant supply of moonshine. And the Dew Drop Inn looked right down home.
Northern Exposure - for the cool town
With my luck I'd probably date that chick whose boyfriends all die. But Hollings place looked like my kind of bar. And I definitely would listen to the Chris in the Morning Show. In fact, I wonder why John Corbett doesn't have his own Satellite Radio show.....

OK, just Googled Corbett and the fucker has a record deal, a single going up the country charts and is nailing Bo Derek on the side. I guess I can see why he isn't worried about doing a radio show.

See, I'd thought he'd go with the ambiguously gay duo.

Speaking of Barnaby Jones, the Beverly Hillbillies would be an ultra-cool gig.

-Cement Pond
-Spooks that play organ music in the walls (whenever the doorbell is rung)
-The Fancy Eatin' Table in the Billy-yard room, complete with pot passers
-Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs dropping in all the time for hoedowns
-80 million in the bank
-The ultra-cool truck, which converts into a spy car

Jethro trying to decide whether he wants to
be a brain surgeon or a fry cook---
and making like a "double-naught" spy !!
The writers of that show had a blast the
first season or so !

I don't know if you are referencing the show or the fact that my clavicle really has been broken before. Yes I do try and milk it every time "I feel it's going to rain", it's the last trick I have left that works in this marriage.

Of course, one extra perk about the Beverly Hillbilly clan...

You mean that it's not fun cleaning out your unit after dumping your vomiting, drunk prisoner at the jail?

Mike TLR: "Oh Dr. Forrester, you're my friggin' hero!"

Dr. F. : "Fetch me another stool sample boy, and while you're
back there, play my rusty trombone."

MST3K rocked.

Along those lines . . .

How about mvscal as Rog's sister, Dee? Same sunny disposition, and both are hanging around mostly to be a pest.

As for me, work-wise it would be Night Court minus the funny judge. At home? My wife and I are probably a (slightly) younger version of Frank and Estelle Costanza.

This is fun.

#3 I would want to be Miss Diane from Romper Room and every day I would say the name Lanakay BECAUSE SHE NEVER SAID IT.

#2 I would want to be Jaclyn Smith on Charlie's Angels.

and #1 of all I WANT TO BE SISTER PETRELL on the Flying Nun.

This is fun!

I can't see why any of you would want to be on Mayberry - hell, I think I only saw one other kid besides Opie on there, and I don't remember too many preggos either, which means those people didn't have much sex.

Never, and I mean never watched an episode, but I've seen just enough to know where I'd wanna be.

Easy...
To have this piece of ass cook me a meal every day? As a bonus, given that it's cooked in under 30 minutes, that's that much more time in the sack too.

Rachel Ray? Good God, she’s one of the most annoying bitches on TV. You two should get along fine. And that picture is extremely kind to her. On a scale of 1 to 10, she’s no more than a 7.

Rachel is cute but Giada is so much better looking. I'd want to get "Behind Her Big Bash."
