PayPal Users - Beware!

Post by patsy stone »

My coworker just got an email with a receipt for payment to another PayPal member. It was confirming that $215 was taken out of her account to pay someone for an iPod Nano she won on eBay. She didn't purchase this.

She clicked on "Dispute Transaction" (which never shows up on REAL PayPal e-mails) and it took her to a site that LOOKED like Paypal, but the URL at the top said "shopbuydesign.com/etc etc..." It asked for her credit card number so that she could get a refund. She started entering it in but then stopped because something seemed weird. She called me over, and we went to paypal.com to check her account, and there were no transactions in her recent history.

So PLEASE BEWARE of these e-mails! They come from "service@paypal.com:" just like all the normal ones...

Smart, sneaky hackers! :x

Dear Miss Patsy,

I will like to begin by introducing myself. My names are Mister Bushice, a native of Cape town South Africa and a senior employee of the South African Department of mining and natural resources currently here in amsterdam on a trade mission. I am writting this letter to solicit your co-operation in order to redeem an investment currently being held under trust with the South African Department of mining and Natural Resources. The said investment now valued at USD$ 10,750,000.00 Million. No really it's a lots of money.

My partner who is the Accounts Director at the department of mining and two of my colleagues have initiated the process of filling a claim for this money, with the hope of having the funds transfered abroad.

If you can give us your bank account number and password we will immediately transfer this money into your account. Please we urge you to keep this matter very CONFIDENTIAL because we are still in active public service in South Africa.

I want to assure you that my partners are in position to make the payment of this claim possible, provided you can give us your strong guarantee that our share will be well secured and that you will not take advantage of our position since the money will be transfered directly to a bank that you nominate. Be assured that there is absolutely nothing to worry about in view of this claim. It is perfectly safe with no risk involved and it is not subject to any enquiry since my partners will be handling the claim directly in South Africa on your behalf.

I do hope my proposal is accepted to you .Please acknowledge the receipt of this letter, so that i can provide you with more clarification about the claim and how we intend to make this deal beneficial to everyone please reach me at this Telephone Number or better still you can mail through my e-mail address.

Your's Truly

Screw PayPal.

I've got a free X-Box coming my way just as soon as I help a Nigerian prince transfer his family fortune into my bank account.

Sweeeet.

and you don't get e-mails informing you
that you need to update your account information
with say Chase Bank--- at which you do no business ??

sadly people must still fall prey to this crap--
there was some lady who gave $$ to some
guy she "met" on line--so that he could come
and visit her--- all too gullible---
thinking of her waiting at the airport for this
thief reminded me of the "Cargo People" in
New Guinea waiting for their ancestors !!

Yea I love those here's 1 I got recently that made me laugh:

Dear Friend

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I am Mrs.Jennifer
kimberly,a widow to Late james kimberly, I am 73years old,I am now a new Christian convert, suffering from long time cancer of the breast.
From all indications my condition is really deteriorating and it's quite obvious that I won't live more than two months according to my doctors.

This is because the cancer stage has gotten to a very bad stage.

My late husband was killed during the US raid against terrorism in Afghanistan, and during the period of our marriage we couldn't produce any
child.

My late husband was very wealthy and after his death,I inherited all
his business and wealth.

The doctor has advised me that I may not live for more than two months, so I now decided to divide part of this wealth, to contribute to the development of the church in Africa, America, Asia
and Europe.

I selected you after visiting the website and I prayed over it, I am
willing to donate the sum of USD$7.5Million to you for the less
privileged.

Please I want you to note that this fund is lying in a security company
and upon my instruction, you will file in an application for the
transfer of the money in your name.

Lastly, I honestly pray that this money when transferred will be used
for the said purpose, because I have come to find out that wealth
acquisition without Christ is vanity upon vanity.

May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God,and the
fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you and your family.

I await your urgent reply.

kindly contact my lawyer Barrister Stege Bergerg

and his email address: officeofbergerg1@sify.com

You can call him at any time and i am sure he will attend to you.

Yours in Christ.

This jennifer cunt may as well not even call herself a Christian. She's definitely a fake one!

My favorite emails are the ones where they claim that I am a homeowner and I have recently taken out at least two mortgages and need to consolidate. I didn't know home owners could consolidate mortgages! Oh and they also claim that I can have an interest rate at least than 2%. Riiiiight.

I'm picturing a 70-year-old with a grenade in his teeth charging into an enemy machine gun nest. He's bummed because while home on leave, he couldn't get his 70-year-old wife knocked up.
