Any special plans for the 4th?

Its way too hot in Phoenix to be outside, even when most fireworks shows are going off. (9:00pm) The projected temps for the next 2 nights at 9pm here are supposed to be 100 & 99 respectively. FUCK THAT. Besides, Cinco De Mayo is a much bigger holiday in this shithole town anyway. What is up in your neck of the woods?

I sort of promised MrsO that we would go
up (down) town and catch the fireworks at
Centennial Park on the river. I'd love to get
there early--pound down a few beers and
take it all in !!

Watch some WC soccer, bbq, throw back some brews, and shoot some illegal fireworks.
