Dude was dropped on the final mountain in yesterday's stage of le Tour de France, apparently ending his hopes of winning being 8 minutes back.
He's about to complete one of the greatest stage wins in the history of the Tour to put himself right back in the hunt.

RACK him.
Whatever happened to the Tour de France forum, anyways?

I'm going to love watching ESPN back pedal.

Did ESPN say something that bad about his performance yesterday?
Landis broke away early and went over some pretty tough mountains today, so hopefully he didn't wear himself out too much for Saturday's time trial.

Basically said he had no chance to win the Tour and he was unable to "intimidate" the other riders, unlike Lance Armstrong.

Well, he's only 30 seconds back now and he beat both of the guys ahead of him in the last time trial by over a minute. There shouldn't be much change tomorrow since the stage is relatively flat, but Saturday's time trial will be awesome.
Landis certainly did his share of intimidating today. As much as Lance dominated le Tour he never rode to a stage win the way Landis did today. Landis' win will certainly rank up there as one of the best stage wins ever.

watched the replay of the race on OLN last night and all I can say is....
simply amazing....at the end of the race, while all of the other leaders were sucking oxygen, Landis looked like he was ready to go another 60 miles......
Time trial Saturday......huge advantage Landis (one of the best TT'ers in the world).......
Kloden...done, Pereiro...done, Menchov...done....not good time trial riders
only Sastre poses a serious threat to Landis.....

Landis already has the best time at the first time check. Sastre is already a minute and 5 seconds back of Landis.
France is about to be owned by an American again.

According to one of ESPN's cycling commentators today, the stories being reported aren't completely correct.
At issue isn't the level of testosterone, but the ratio of testosterone to epitestosterone.
Talking head claimed that, while this is the test that has burned many an Olympic athlete, every single time it's been challenged ... it's been overturned.
He said if the reports showed elevated testosterone levels, then there would be a legit cause for worry.

The 4:1 rule is stupid. A test to prove doping that some people who don't dope will fail? How smart is that? His T level was fine and his E was low. So fucking what?
After they screen his urine for exogenous testosterone using IRMS analysis of one pregnanediol and two androstanediols, get back to me.

But Rack the NFL anyways. Live Raiders games rule.

Why bother? Smacking you is like headbutting a urine-sodden oxycontin poultice. It's not all it's cracked up to be, due to the lack of capable response

People would probably take him a little more seriously if he wore his hat like a man instead of a 6 yo boy.

I hope he never did but boy would the sports media shit themselves if the smoking gun was found and he turned out to be a fraud too. ESPN with egg on its face would be worth seeing. Lance has done great things for people battling cancer but it would be a damn shame if their hero was a fake.

Curiouser and Curiouser.
