Black Crowes fans: I give you Steve Marriott and Humble Pie

Chris Robinson ain't coming from nowhere:

i do give the Crowes some real cred for that Greek Theatre record they did with Jimmy Page...that could have sucked mightily like most of Page's attempts to cash in of the LZ name yet one more time......but despite all that Jimmy seemed to both sober up and practice some but the Crowes learned all those songs from LZ III and Physical Graffitti. Jimmy really does kick ass on that record.....including the "Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac cover of "Oh Well" and the Yardbirds "Shapes of Things". and the drummer for the BC plays with bonzo sticks.

while it's not Live at Leeds, that's a pretty cool live record in a genre of "remakes" and cashing in of bands past their prime doomed to suck...as it might have been.

Gotta love those 80's videos. None of that one image per second crap they do now. Just bands playing music or simple concept videos behind the song ( Like Dear God)

And rack 120 minutes. Used to be a good watch before MTV turned into shit.....

Anyone know what REAL humble pie is? I learned about it on Food Network yesterday.

EDIT: Speaking of XTC, "Mayor of Simpleton" used to be a favorite of mine. Love the lyrics and still can sing every word from memory. Good to see the video again on YouTube!
