The SEC...

Post by M2 »

Who will run the table?

I'll I have to go with Tennessee, knowing what they brought to the table in the first game.

They've got some vengence(thou this won't take you very far) unless they have "it".

They have it.

This call is hard, since one of my friends growing up... has a son on the Georgia team.

Sean Bailey.

His dad is Stacey Bailey(Terra Linda H.S.), a very close friend since we were young.

Stacey(aka. Spoon) was one of my idols growing up on the basketball court.

Good luck to Sean, but Tennessee looks to good.

I see Tennessee playing in the BCS this year.

Maybe Kal is overrated and sucks.
Maybe Tennessee sucks, but not as bad as Kal does.
Maybe the real talent in the SEC belongs to LSU and Auburn.

My guess is that Auburn wins the west and UF wins the east with Auburn winning it all.

What is this shit you are spewing? Tenn beat the future national champions so they automatically run the table in the SEC? So what you are saying is if Vandy or Kentucky beat Kal, they would be your favorite to win the SEC? Not even close bud.

And Kal is just three more losses away from a rematch with Tennecleats for the BCS national championship in El Paso.

Last year... Tennessee started the season at #3 in the country.

Bad QB play and they ended up as a 5-6 team.(Sup OU?) you know what I'm talking about as well as we do.

Old OC is back... and Ainge goes back to being the freak he was as a freshman.

Cal was 3 bad tackles from winning the game.(21 points) Cal lost by 17.

Poor play calling on Cal's part... only giving the ball to Marshawn 12 times, yet he was the leading rusher in the game at over 6.3 yards per carry and 74 yards.

Longshore, in his first full game as D1 qb goes into a hornets nest... in front of the most intimedating enviorment in College Football(Neyland) and 107,000 loud in ORANGE!

Tennesse has had a top 10 recruiting class for the last 5 years... with the one before last, being #1 in the Country!!!

SQT, missed those tackles that led to 21 points in less than a minute... but he was also playing with a cast on his broken right hand.

Tennesse scored 21 points in less than a minute, due to poor decisions made by a freshman cb.

Tennessee is bad ass, yet they are not better than 2 and half TD's better than Cal, even if it was the first game of the season, on the road, and at the most intimedating stadium in the country. Just ask Vol fan how lucky he feels that everything fell into place.

Tennessee has sick talent... and any team in the country would have had a hard time beating them that day, with the chip they had on their shoulder that day. Be it, USK, Texas, or Ohio State!

If Kal hadn't been 3 tackles away from winning the game, they coulda handed off to him 13 times for 74 yards.

More like 5 TDs before UTK put in their 3rd string. Your team sucks. Your excuses are comical. Further solidifying your throne to board bitchdom.

FTFY (a week in advance). Now's probably a good time to prep your next onslaught of Golden Gate Bridge posts.

Then you would lose money.

Tennessee will run away with the SEC... mark my words.

Like Tennessee fan has said, this is the most talented team they've had in a decade (this includes) their MNC team.

The Vols are more for real than Cal is a bad team.

Sure, Cal lost their anchor on the first play of the game (Stevens at tight-end) for run blocking, but Tennessee has more speed than any SEC team I've seen in a while.

Maybe that's why Kal didn't go to the ground attack as much as normal. Or maybe it's because your heroes were getting dumpster fucked 35-0 going into the 3rd quarter. Which by the way, was only 3 plays away from not happening.

I've got a deal for ya if you have any balls.

You said Minnesota(which won 44-0) in their last game, and have had one of the best rushing O's in the country over the last 3 years... would kick Cal's ass!

If Cal loses to Minnesota... I'll never post here again!

If your Big 11 school(Minnesota) loses... you never post here again!

You in???

Let's see if you have the nuts to play with the big boys(the Pac 10)???

OK then, a bet for you:

If Tennessee wins the SEC, I'll buy one of your wind chimes. If Tennessee does not win the SEC, you send it to me free.

Bet?

Sure, you do know that's 5 large?

I'm in if you are...

P.S. How did LSU do agaisnt an average Pac 10 team last year... to start the season???

As to last year, all you need to realize is that LSU finished higher than Cal.
Hardcrow, has a couple... 5 large means a bunch in certain parts of the country.

Cal is coming back...

...and how did that game go with LSU and our gutter punks?

Jsc, take that bet. You're getting a $5K wind chime for free, almost guaranteed. You could then e-bay it for at least $100 so no matter what you're going to come out ahead $100...

If it's a $5K windchime it must involve some sort of upscale materials and there's always going to be a New Age Hausfrau who'll burp up $100 for anything that's even remotely Sante Fe-esque...

didnt Longshore start the first game last year and was doing great til he blew out his knee? that would make Tenn his second start

Leinarts first start was at Allbarn who some thought were #1, difference is the team behind Leinart could tackle. It was almost like Tedford thought they were going to Tennessee for a friendly game of frisbee. Tell those dirty hippy bitches that tackling is indeed a part of this game, the frisbee finals are in Colorado

Not gonna happen, not unless OSU moves out of LSU's way.

LSU would have to run the table and then hope OSU loses somewhere this season because otherwise OSU, USC and ND are the only teams left who still control their own BCS Title Game destiny.

#1 OSU runs the table, they're in.
#2 USC runs the table, they're in.
#3 ND runs the table (would have to beat USC in order to do so), they're in.

Even if you reverse the rankings with USC and ND it won't matter to everyone else since ND and USC play each other and the winner of that game will sew up #2 (or #1).

LSU, Auburn, W. Virginia, Va Tech, Louisville and any other title game hopefuls are already on the outside looking in.

So, assuming they go BCS Bowling, USC will play in one of only two bowls: the BCS title game, or the Rose Bowl. LSU can only play in one of two themselves: the title game, or the Sugar.

It's either going to be LSU-USC for all the marbles, in which case you need help to get there. Or, I suppose, if the wheels completely fall off both wagons, LSU could somehow meet USC in some sort of anticlimactic WGARA Bowl.

Bottom line, LSU fan, if you want USC in a meaningful bowl game (and I don't mean m2's idea of "meaningful" either) you're going to have to beat Auburn next weekend, win out, hope USC wins out and then hope that somebody in the Big 10 takes down OSU for you.

Happy hunting.
