i could be wrong, but in college, when the ball touches the endzone, it immediatley a touchback. blown dead immediately
where in pro's, it would be a td for OU.

Article 7 in Section 1 of Rule 6 deals with this situation. As long as "Team B" (the receiving team) doesn't touch the kick before it touches the ground in or behind the endzone it is dead by rule.
This was change a few years ago and is often missed by many people.

Sorry I missed this before, but there were multiple pages of new threads when I got back on Wednesday night. I also think this was changed back in 1996. You may recall that that was also the year that overtime was added. Might be why you missed it.
