And the second time around its still a stupid idea.
OSU needs help, their entire fan base needs psychological evaluation.

Oregon boy started it while living in New York, actually. Of course, as soon as the opportunity presented itself, he moved himself and his fledgeling company from the shithole back to home.
But regardless of location, I dig them because A) All bands on there provide MP3 samples of their works, and B) they're making a stand against the big labels and their tight control of the industry. All bands get the same dough...all but a $1 distribution fee per CD, and all bands, large and small, get a check every single week for what they've sold the week prior.
I think Fall From Grace - Dogod is still even available on there...RACKable in and of itself.
I got 99 problems but the 'vid ain't one

When you come strictly a college town, the only thing to obsess about is the big rivals to your school. C'bus has nothing else to do but take shits on Michigan...especially when they're better than them right now. It's easy to mock and tease when you have bode. I don't know how many anti-Michigan punk bands were around when Cooper was roaming their sideline. Hard to play angry music with your tail tucked between your legs.

Yeah, you know you guys are probably right. Buckeye fans and especially the students need mental help. We should probably follow UM's lead and have more protests against every little issue we can think of. Anything that will divert attention away from our football program.

I think of like Starkville, Mississippi...where there's literally NOTHING else.
What is Columbus known for other than the Buckeyes? ...and don't say the Blue Jackets.

I think we just have different perceptions of what a "college town" is.
When the biggest thing in town is the university...it's a college town. You've kind of hit on that already. State government by default is bigger for a school in state capital cities but other than that, the school is probably the most identifiable thing in those towns. I think of Lansing/East Lansing...I think of the Spartans. I think of Columbus...I think of the Buckeyes. I think of Madison...I think of the Badgers. Most major cities have universities but they have so much else, the school isn't the first or most identified thing in the city. USC isn't the first thing I think of when I think of Los Angeles. Columbus has a lot of people living there for a reason but I think if you ask most people, they think of Columbus as either the state capital of Ohio or the home of THE Ohio State University.

When you hear the phrase "college town," the context rarely has anything to do with sports. "College towns" aren't typically synonymous with large, urban cities. A true college town resides in the middle of nowhere, like Bowling Green, Ohio, where there's literally nothing but the university. That's a college town, my friend.
I've been to Columbus. Have you? I can think of a lot of things about that city other than OSU. I can't think of anything in Bowling Green outside of BGSU.
